My interest in genealogy began as a child. We spent a lot of time with my Grandmother who maintained the cemetery plot that her son & parents were buried in. It is a rather large cemetery with several old graves with unreadable headstones. I've always wondered who they were, what they did, etc. So much history in graveyards certainly not to be feared like they show in horror films! Every month I usually list the birthdays for the people I have included in my virtual cemetery list. If you would be so kind as to drop by and leave a flower that would be wonderful and very much appreciated! God bless!|

|Glen Walling||Louise 'Peggy' Ladd|
Peggy is my cousin, Her dad James is mom's bro. Mom's name is Hazel Donaldson Walling. I have not had contact with this side of my family since 1950's or early 60's. I just joined 'findagrave' a few days ago and have made contact with other cousins. I noticed you had 'left flowers' for Peggy and have hope you may know how to contact some of Peggy's family. Peggy always referred to mom as 'aunt Hazel'.

Kathleen Aderhold Sitting at state United Daughters of the Confederacy meeting in savannah & thought about you. I've been asked to go to the national meeting in va. I think that would be fascinating, esp if I can take the entire week & make use of the library. I want to take advantage of the opportunity to use the library for research. The meeting is Nov 6-10. In Richmond, Va. If you have any ideas, research, documentation, etc, for any mutual ancesters let me know. I hope to be able to confirm some "facts" & find clues for some of my dead ends. Please use the email 123Katiegrace@gmail.com. -text 912-398-3121. Thanks for your help. Kathleen Aderhold. Savannah,GA

|Debra Alderman||Cora Allen|
I have been researching my family of Allens in St. Francois County and I noticed Cora Allen. I suppose she would be my great granfather's first wife. His name was Thomas Allen and married Cora Evans, signed permission by her stepfather Waller. I was wondering on the headstones do you find they sometimes make mistakes on the date of death? The trouble I can't come to terms with is that Cora died in 1883 and her first daughter was born in 1883 and her second in 1884. I am sorry to bother you and I do so appreciate what you do for us. I love find the grave sites and use it heavily. Just wondering if maybe you might know the answer to that question. Again thank you for what you do..Debra

Samuel T & Susan Masters Clark are my GGG Grand Parents, on my Daddy's side. I am also looking for any information On Wm. Henry & Sarah Susan Mydora Alice Calrenda Ford Clark from Henry Co.GA
They had 11 children. They are my Great Grand parents on my Mothers side. They are buried o Fairview Rd., at the Methodist Church. I am trying to figure out how they are all connected. Both families lived in the Shakerug Community around Fairview. If you have any information you could share with me please let me know.

Okay, thank you for getting back to me to let me know. My search for Andrew Jackson Cottom/Cotton continues! ~BL
Dear Cheryll Cotten: I see back in 2006 you left flowers for Andrew Cotton, Find A Grave Memorial # 15907339. Would you by any chance be kin to another Andrew Jackson "Jack" Cottom (he changed his family's surname from 'Cotton' to 'Cottom'), who was born October 7, 1877 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky? His father was Chesley (middle initial J. or S.) Cotton, also born in Christian County, Kentucky. Andrew's mother was Angeline Treat (Treat was her maiden name), and she was born in Coffee County, Tennessee. I am asking because I am trying to locate any living relatives of my friend Phyllis, who born to James Thomas Newton, Sr. and Mary A. Cottom (Mary was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Cottom/Cotton), Find A Grave Memorial # 94548299. Phyllis was adopted at the age of ten months by the McClure family. Phyllis is now 86-years-old and just two weeks ago found out who her birth family was! Do you perhaps share any familial connection? Thank you and kind regards, Bridey Light
Do you happen to know any thing about this Denny Johnson? I am trying to find my grandfathers brother.
