Hello! My name is Kathy and I have been doing genealogy research for my family for the last couple years. I am always interested in family history, and am excited to help other people learn about their own family. My two daughters, Mary & Kathi, also help me when I go out and look for grave site pictures. |
You may use my Photo's any way you wish and there is no need to get permission.

I don't know how you found it, but a special "thank you" for taking and posting the photo of ELIAKIM CULVER JR.'s Headstone! Your efforts are very much appreciated.
Eliakim Jr. is the 2x-great-uncle of my wife, Kathy Culver Nickell. His father, Eliakim Culver, was a veteran of the American Revolution and the Battle of Saratoga.
Eliakim Jr. fought under William Henry Harrison at the Battle of Tippecanoe near Lafayette, IN. I don't know too much more about Eliakim Jr.
Kathy's great-grandfather, Oliver Belden Culver, who was Eliakim Jr's brother, was an abolitionist who settled and farmed in central Illinois. Another brother, Zoraster Culver, was a merchant whose sons were grain traders and founding members of the Chicago Board of Trade.
It's great to have Eliakim Jr's headstone now on the record. Thanks again.

Thank you very much for letting me know about that. My mother passed away almost 11 months ago and even though she was cremated the individual at the funeral home stated that they would add a death date to the head stone. It's just disheartening to find out that it never happened.
