Mary Clara Yarbrough Shull
Just wanted to let you know that her headstone reflects her name is spelled Schull. However, her husband was my grandfather William Albert Shull, Sr., of Nashville. Some members of the Shull family did spell it Schull, but my grandpa did not. After Clara passed in 1918, he married my grandmother Cora Pearl Brown in 1919. I know a little bit more about Clara if you are interested, so you may private message me at ellen@gregorynet.net.

I added the death year, but assuming that the cemetery record shows Sept 28 I will leave that. Maybe some day there will be a headstone and the inf can be changed to what it says.

I accepted edit for adding husband, because I found the marriage record, but please send proof for the other edits. The cemetery record showed Betty Hunt and without proof that there is a headstone that shows Brown, I am declining that. If there is a headstone that shows Hunt, that is the surname that is to be used. If you can verify that there is a record that shows Brown, send and then submit another edit. I don't make changes that cannot be proven. The 1880 and marriage record both show Bettie. Family Trees are not proof unless they give a source.

Powell, thanks for the edits for them both. So they appear related, do you know how so I can include it in the bio? Are you related also? BJ

RE: Same Tree?
Hello Charles!

I am so sorry for MY delay! I had managed to get myself locked out of this account and it has literally taken me months to get things straight!

(Face palm)

We are in Germany because this is where my husband is currently stationed. It is beautiful! I am attempting to frantically dig into the German records in attempts to find out where my Bechtolds and my Leideckers lived before they moved to Kentucky, ultimately. The system here is a bit confusing.

It seems that the Leideckers came from the top, right hand side of the country. Much closer to Berlin. It seems the Bechtolds were more lower, left handed side of the country. Much closer to France and Switzerland.

The changing names of the regions is a doosie, too. It's a hoot!

Well, I have much to catch up on and I had to apologize for my delay. Believe you me, I understand about missing something-- it happens.

I look forward to 'talking' to you soon. :)

Hi--I go to these graves often. My great-grandmother was Virgie Edwards Snow. I was happy to see the photo of her father, James Elder Edwards with this. Where did you get the photo? Thanks
