Started researching both parent's families in 1999. Many relatives live in IL, since I was born and raised there, however, my immediate family lives all over the USA, and I live in New Jersey. My relatives came from Czechoslovakia, Germany, and France. My initial inquiry on Roots Web in 1999 about my G-G-Grandfather, Johann, was answered within a few days from a cousin in Germany. Johann, emigrated with his mother, brother and sister to Zanesville, OH, and then Johann moved to IL. My German cousin and I both visited Zanesville, and then we went to IL to do more research. I am always looking for any Czech. relatives with the last name of Jiruska. I have written and talked to many and they all claim they are not related to me. How sad my G-G-Grandfather had no one here when he arrived at 16. Middleton|

Sincere thanks for the photos. I visited the cemetery a few years back, but at the time did not realize just how many cousins I had buried there.
So, thanks for posting them!

And I meant to add.... Charles is my great grand uncle, son of Edwin Sr and Rosella. I'm not sure who Anna is, she's not on my tree, although she's obviously related. I also don't have Barbara on my tree, but I notice the listing on Find A Grave says she was 13hrs old, so likely never recorded in anything that would show up in my (currently limited to on-line) research.
More thanks :)

"Meant to add that I also added an Edwin and Rachel Broome to F-A-G today. Are they related to you, too?"
If the Edwin there was born in 1873, he is my 2x great-grandfather. I have never been able to find a death date for him. His wife, my 2x great-grandmother's, name was Rosella.
However, if the Edwin there was born in 1902, he's their son, my great grand uncle.
Hold on.... just looked at ancestry again, and the younger Edwin was married to Rachel, who was born in 1906. So, that's who "Edwin and Rachel" are. I never had their death dates before, either.
They had 3 sons, so while I do not have names of any of their wives, I'd bet Eliz Smith Broom, who purchased the plots, is a daughter-in-law.
Isn't it great how much information cemeteries provide for us?! Thank you so much for adding more pieces to my family puzzle!

Thank you so much for the information you provided, related to your attempt to find and photograph a stone for Grace Broome! Grace and Ambrose are my 3x great-grandparents. Abel and Matilda are Ambrose's parents, my 4x great-grandparents. Even though Grace and Ambrose either didn't have stones, or they are gone, your information has been helpful and greatly appreciated!

You may use any pictures I post. I do put them out there for public use. I'm happy I had something you had an interest in.

You may want to leave it up and see who it is. Even if we don't get down there , there are lots of volunteers here 😊 Connie
I found cemetery lists many different places, but had to compile the spreadsheets myself into the proper format for submission to Find A Grave.
Find a grave says 101 miles :)

I just checked , we are 129 miles north of there. Who are you looking for? We sometimes get down that way and would be happy to try and find it. It looks like a straight shot on I55. Connie
Thanks for the photos.
