|Family historian, micropaleontologist, hiker, retired teacher among other things. Thanks to all who posted memorials and photos useful in my family tree, and made memorials of closer family members. I do not "own" my memorials and photos, your non-commercial use for family purposes is fine with me, credit is appreciated in your trees, histories and websites. Now working on Strausbaugh family tree. NEED HELP: looking for parents of Lucy Ann Elizabeth Strausbaugh, wife of Melchior Sachs. Married 1849 March 16 in Gettysburg, non-Cathlic rite. Born in or near Gettsyburg, PA about 1829. NOT Lucy Ann the daughter of George Strausbaugh and Elizabeth Bittinger, that Lucy Ann married Joseph Warner and stayed in Pennsylvania instead of moving to Illinois. Anyone knowing her parents names please contact me.

|BarryC||RE: Eatman graves|
Gave it a shot .... while there were quite a few Eatmans, most have already been photographed. Check out
It says "Eatman, Calvin, c1832-30 Dec1899
(One census shows this family, i.e., Calvin L (Buck) Eatman, wife Annie Elizabeth Allen, dau of Darius Allen and Mary Hulbert, and son Charles William buried here – they all have "modern" grave markers in the Eatman Cemetery in Flagler CO, FL and the complier has listed them in that posting -they may well be buried here)
If you check out that cemetery on Find A Grave their memorials are photographed there.

I presume you have seen the Find a Grave information for John J Murphy: born 1888, died 1/11/1964 and Marie A Murphy born 2/25/1889, died 7/20/1980.
Three burial sites were purchased by John J Murphy on 5/29/1959. Our records show only the two burials for this family. However, on the third gravesite, there is a small funeral marker with a paper insert on which only the name John J Murphy Jr. can barely be recognized. We cannot make out any dates and have no record of this death and burial. With this information, we have assumed the third grave site was used for John J Murphy Jr.
Any supporting or confirming information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Are the any family members living in this area that may know more about this?

|Julie Grabill Rasmussen||RE: Rasmus Hansen bio posted|
I thought Rasmus Hansen had one of the more interesting biographies. Glad you can get some use of it!

I'm happy to transfer Ila to you, no mater how distant. As for The Wrights - wrong part of the county for mine. They are my brick wall.

Linked Ila, # 44425356, to parents as requested.

Hi, I took photos of Anne and Christian Andersen's grave markers. I also found a marker for Alice Lucille Andersen. I created the memorial and included the photo for her also. I also found out that Ruth and Gladys Andersen are also buried in the same lot, but they do not have markers. Hope this helps. bhd

I took a few different shots of the stone. I lightened the close-up so the inscription can be read. If you click open the photo, I added the full inscription to the photo. There are overlapping branches that canopy this stone and I do not believe sunlight ever reaches it, regardless of the time of day. Hope these pics help, Happy Hunting!

I am more than willing to transfer to a family member who wants to keep the memorials of their family - just say the word. Outside of that, I am willing to make any additions or corrections that you would like to see with the memorial. Kay
