Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I'm Jonathan and I'm the webmaster for the Prentiss County Genealogical and Historical Society in Booneville, MS. I began researching my family's history at age 19 after my grandfather, Clingmin Hicks, passed away. My favorite part of research has always been visiting cemeteries and I thought a website such as this must exist, and sure enough, here it is.

I'm not related to everyone I memorialize on here so if you are please contact me and I'll transfer your relative right over unless it's a direct and closely related ancestor of mine.

I made a lot of my memorials on here before January 2007 and before the website supported linking relatives. I would be glad to link relatives together if you would like.

Thank you!

Sharon Keeton memorial:
Jonathon, would you add the photo you have on the Leburn Keeton memorial #33912565 to his wife's memorial? She passed away just a few days ago.

...Thank U sooooooooo much Jonathan 4 the transfer of my Ancestor. I remember when U went 2 search 4 Catharine & John's gravestones. Haunted, if I remember right. Now if only my maternal cousin wouldn't have stolen my paternal personal photo of Catharine & posted it publicly, would acknowledge his transgression. Ugh. It's been copied & placed on sooooo many sites, without my permission!!! Back 2 the reason I'm writing, THANK U 4 the transfer. Have a safe Labor Day...

Smiley :-))

Dear Jonathan, Thank you so much for all the work you do on behalf of your fellow researchers. Also, to honor the memory of those who went before us. I often see your name and smile with pleasure. I am honored to call you friend.

William & Nancy Ford
I have been looking for info on my GGGrandfather for a long time William D Ford & Nancy Lynn Cumberson. I did find they once lived in Lee County MS. I found a grave in Beulah Cemetery with a child grave William D Ford 1852-1854. Would you know how I can find more info on this family. Thanks so very much. Gloria Jean Ford

Unmarked Graves
Hey Johnathan,
I was wondering if you know anything about unmarked graves in Prentiss county. I've been working on my ancestry since 2011 and I have been informed by several family members about certain ancestors buried in certain cemeteries. They say the graves are unmarked. Do the cemeteries keep records on people buried there?
