Bio and Links
Bio Photo As a teacher and with a BA in history, genealogy became a natural outflow for learning the past. Learning of ancestors being involved with major historical events have made those historical events become more personal and alive. My wife, son, and I live in historical New England and enjoy the ability to visit many of the historical places of our country's beginnings as well as some of the oldest cemeteries. The photo you see is of my grandfather, Goduise Joseph Lagace, in the 1920's.

RE: Howard
You're welcome! ~ Her name was Rebecca 57643301. There is 1 stone that is face down that MIGHT be hers. (It probably is hers. The person who transcribed that cemetery was a town Cemetery Commissioner). It is face-down, and slightly covered with encroaching moss. One would need permission to touch it. That's a project that I won't be able to pick up just yet. Your request will be a constant reminder! ~ Chip

RE: Abbie Howard
Actually I found two other memorials in various versions of her name and deleted two of them. I used readings from two printed sources to put up the memorials in Northview and there were some slip-ups.

RE: Infant Howard of Oliver's
I am glad to see that you did request a photo of her stone. I can try to go fulfill that later today, when the rain stops. I am also curious. I see that you have other requests nearby. You might see those fulfilled soon too.

Trying to gather information on James C Dill, in Gray Village Cemetery, Gray, Cumberland, Maine. I believe he is related to my family. My Family has the following names in their names: Dill, Knowles, Northup. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
