HI I AM KATRINA(GREENE) SHEA. I GREW UP IN JACKSONVILLE (ONSLOW COUNTY) NC, FOR THE FIRST 21 YEARS OF MY LIFE. I NOW RESIDE IN CARY NC (WAKE COUNTY) NC WHERE I HAVE BEEN SINCE 1987. I AM VERY INTRESTED IN MY FAMILY (BOTH SIDES) HISTORY. I COME FROM A REALLY LARGE FAMILY, I AM ONE OF 11 CHILDREN AND MY MOTHER WAS ALSO ONE OF 11. SO, FOR AS FAR BACK AS I CAN REMEMBER, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD AN INTREST IN MY ANCESTORS. ANY HELP I CAN GET WITH THIS, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!|
THANK YOU SO MUCH !
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
BEFORE ANYONE CREATEES AN ENTRY, PLEASE ENTER THE NAME THROUGH THE NEW SEARCH WINDOW, THIS WAY THIS PREVENTS SOMEONE FROM UNECESSARLY ENTERING SOMEONE WHEN THERE IS A ENTRY ALREADY EXIXTING, OR PREVENT DOUBLE DUPLICATION. I HAVE MADE THAT MISTAKE AT LEAST 2 TIMES AND HAD TO DELETE MY ENTRY. OR FOUND OUT THAT SOMEONE HAS DOUPLICATED MY ENTRY THAT I HAVE WORKED SO HARD ON AND THAT IS MY RELITIVE OR LOVED ONE.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION!

Thank you for creating his memorial so I had chance to leave a note thank him for his courage . The anti smoking ads are running on a NY state tv station with his documetary. I cant believe how much he looks like our beloved Brian during his chemo who lost his fight againat a rare form of Leukemia while in Navy & no 1 in US or Canada was a marrow match & had 2 go with a less than perfect donor match from Germany lastest 70 days after it. The remarks Justin made during it were so close to what our son said to his daughter ,I always ask people if havent register to be a marrow donor to please go to be a match.org to request simple swab kit to start never know when it could affect family of friend . Thanks for all your contributions .

My google maps is not cooperating. That being said. Based on the average burial of the now Defunct Dudley cemetery I believe this is a separate cemetery. I gone ahead and added it. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=136161506&CRid=2554382&

Katrina, I can't find HAWKSIDE ROAD on google maps or mapquest. The cemetery I am looking at is on half-moon road and in 1939 only had 3 graves listed.
The oldest grave was 1816 for a fellow by the name of HILL.
Why was your cemetery called Dudley? I didn't see any Dudley's in it.

I am looking at information for Dudley cemetery in Onslow county. It is listed as being on half-moon road, jacksonville road on the Roper Farm. This information comes from 1937. In this cemetery the oldest grave was 1816. Could these 2 be the same cemetery or different?

Hi, I'm wondering if you would consider processing the edit I suggested for Ms Armistead. I'm trying my best to clean up Raleigh National Cemetery. Thanks, MA

I agree; your entry was placed first. I won't delete it. Have a good day, Karen

Thank you for the transfers of Donald Craddock, Florence Kilpatrick, Laura Batts and James Batts, Sr., my relatives at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary, NC.
Donald is a duplicate Mem. page, so when I hear from Pale Saint, I will figure out what to do about it. We will either leave it as it is, or delete one of them.
Have a good day,
Karen Milner Freeman
