The gravesite photo you posted on Nelson Irvin's memorial (number 43892282) is lovely. Would you please post it also on the memorial (number 74514207) I created for his wife, Mildred? Thank you.

Thank you for your prompt and friendly response!
|Barbara Campbell||Your memorials at Fort Monroe|
Dear Sir, I hate to relay this but your memorials were FIRST buried at Fort Monroe. According to the cemetery description "This cemetery continued until early in 1860, when it was deemed necessary to have this strip of land to build batteries upon as protection for the fort. These bodies were moved to the Hampton National Cemetery just being started by the United States Government. There are no records to show just when this movement was begun. The Anti-Air-Craft guns now stand there.
Not all your memorials are duplicated in the Hampton National Cemetery but some are like 145752897 and your 112919741.
Will you look at the photo and tell me if you can read it. I feel sure I have the right dates or you would have corrected me.
Thanks for your help.
