My husband and I have been working on our various family lines for 30+ years. Our research begins in Ontario and covers most Canadian provinces and many of the US states. It is with the help of numerous volunteers and fellow researchers that we are able to enjoy the wonderful piece of history that we will someday leave to our descendants.|

|Leanne||RE: Florence Ladner Wares|
I had located a funeral notice for her:
WARES - At the family residence, 1622 East Harrison, Mrs. Florence Wares, beloved mother of Alene, Harry A. and Ernest G. Wares and Bertha M. Tait.
Private services at Bonney-Watson Co. Wednesday. Interment Washelli Cemetery.
Seattle Daily Times newspaper, Seattle, King, Washington, USA
Published Tuesday April 25 1933
Also, this should help since the family lived in Seattle.....go to digitalarchives.wa.gov. This is the Washington State government site that has all kinds of documents / records online. Easy to search.
Hope this helps in your search.

I see you have been visiting Purdy's, sadly I haven't been able to make a trip up there as of yet. Reminds me I need to call my cousin about getting his up to date transcript. You sent me some edits on the gilchrist and wrightson family and saw you suggest Bruce and Lanark and wanted to see if these are just the counties or the actual towns. A tip to bypass the Canada location bug go down and select the second Canada on the list, or c 3 or 4 times and that will allow you to select the county which it slips with the bug
|Josway||Daniel & Pearl Quinn|
In looking for you found out that Daniel died in San Francisco, and Pearl died in Sonoma Cty. My guess is that they both are buried in the bay area some where. I checked into cemeteries in
Santa Rosa and neither are buried here. I transferred Robert Quin over to your care. I would rather family be with family than a total stranger. Blessings Jo

|gladwin gal||Re: Flora Ladner Wares|
I just received an email from a Lady named Geri which says: Tom, I am a volunteer at the historical society in San Andreas, CA and yesterday someone left a metal grave marker here with the inscription, Florence Wares, 1856-1933. Would this be Flora? an ancestor of yours? Thanks, Geri
Looks like someone found Flora marker but where was it before?
I'm awaiting for another email from Geri. from my Response...

Thank you for checking!
I added your edit but made a note in her bio. The marker that she shares with her mom and Marjorie Little (1913-1997)definitely has 1904 as year of birth.

Inglewood Park Cemetery
720 East Florence Avenue
Los Angeles County
Postal Code: 90301-1482
You may call or email to obtain burial plot location of James (& I assume Emma)... There is no research charge to give you location.
I added his obit to your memorial, but I will work to try to get my copy to appear larger...it's a bit difficult to read as is. Also, I am searching for his wife's obit.
