I was born, Jan. 13, 1944 in Paris, Tennessee and have lived in Paris all my life. I was the only child of Myrtice and Alfred Nichols, who ran a grocery store near Springville, Tenn., till my dad became disable in 1959. I graduated from Springville High School in 1962. I was married to Betty Tubbs, of Big Sandy Tenn. in March of 1970. We now have 2 children, Jamie & Julie, and 3 grandchildren, Justin Nichols, Morgan Faith Brewer and Garrett Brewer. After my high school graduation in 1962. I worked at several local factories till Oct of 1991. At that time Lowes Southern Clay closed down, I had worked there for 15 years. Videotaping being my hobby, I then worked for a small video production business in Paris, Special Moments Video, where we videotaped weddings and all types of special events, as well as a few local cable TV shows, where I met alot of interesting people. That lasted till 1998 and in Sept. of 1998 I started driving a school bus for the Henry County School system. At the present time I drive for Lakewood Elementary School and Henry County High School.
My wife & I have enjoyed local musicians singing & playing at a local resturant, the K & L Family Cafe, since Aug. of 1999. I videotape these shows each week and have started a website (not finished) showing pictures of some of the entertainers, which are taken from my tapes. That address is shown below under my email address... Note: the K & L had their last show on Jan. 28, 2006 and closed down on Jan. 30, 2006.
I really enjoy the computer and especially this Findagrave site. I also love downloading old 50's & 60's music, and burning them to CD's. ......Updated on June 29, 2008......

 | Isiah Simmons Thank you so much for trying to get the photo! If it's half as cold and snowy in Tennessee as it is here in Colorado, you are an Iron Man!
Again, thank you for trying! Beth | | | Ruth Ellen Bartels

 | Hello! Hey Donald! I came across this site just tonight, and I can't tell you what it did to my heart when I saw your name and flowers on my dad's page (if that's what you call it).
I couldn't help but recall wonderful memories of growing up next door to you, Ms. Myrtice and Mr. Alfred. How I loved sneaking away from the store and walking the railroad tracks!
Hope your family is doing great! JB | | | Michael Dunne

 | Pauline & Fred Johnson I have it on family information that Pauline and Fred Johnson are buried in Hornbeak Cemetary. I have that Pauline died in Oct 1974 and Fred died in 1976. Do you still do photographs of grave sites in this cemetary? If so, could you help me? Thank you for your assistance.
