 | RE: Cliff Hantak 5/15/2013--- you are welcome... while at Crown Hill (i was there to photograph family headstones & thought to check Find A Grave requests); i first found Clifford H parents graves; Thomas & Bertha Hantak. Check for them in Find A Grave, as I did some checking in Ancestry.com and found some info on them. Could not find anything on Clifford's wife, Olga; unknown if still alive, or gone. Take care... | RE: The Adkins Family I'm not related to the Adkins or Atkins families that I know of. I sort of "adopted" the Atkins Cemetery since there aren't many folks in the western part of Raleigh County transcribing cemeteries. I work on it off & on in between the smaller cemeteries I can do in an hour or two. Odd though, there don't seem to be very many Adkins buried there. Might be named for the people who donated the land. I have worked on both Hill Top cemeteries in the Oak Hill area. There is someone who has "adopted" the Hill Top Union Cemetery over by WOAY for transcription, so I stopped working on that one. The Hill Top cemetery along Rt 19 near Scarbro is terribly overgrown. If you know anyone having any info on that cemetery, I'd love some help with it. | | | jdp
