RE: Armentrout Family Hello OK, I just want to make sure I have this correct because 1 thing you said is making me think. You said that Charles Armentrout was your great, great, grandfather. Did you mean your great uncle? Your great great grandfather should be the same as mine as Charles and Amelia Florence were brother and sister. Your great, great grandfather would be David Aaron Armentrout. Same as mine. Sorry for so many questions. My grandfather, never really talked about his family. I dont know if that was on purpose, or if he just didnt know?
Armentrout Family Hello Actually after reading your bio...you might be the great grandson of Amelia? Im guessing your father is also Shirldon?? He would have been the one growing up to know who my grandfather was.
Armentrout Family Hello I just wanted to say a quick hello since we appear to be related. Your grandmother Amelia Florence Armentrout was sister to my great grandfather Charles Armentrout. My grandfather was Aaron Armentrout. Im always curious if p relatives knew my father, grandfather and great grandfather growing up? My dad doesnt really know any of his family.
U DO GREAT Don't worry to much about control freaks, some people just don't realize the cemeteries were family plots long before public cemeteries. You do great work, and MOST are glad you contribute to Find A Grave. Keep doing a great job for the rest of us and let NOONE dampen your spirit ;)
Jacob Sonifrank Hi there, I have lots of relatives at Lovettsville Union, where you listed Jacob Sonifrank. He died in 1796, the cemetery didn't have its first burial until 50 years later (I have a book of all marked & unmarked burials at the cemetery). I have checked the Loudoun Cemetery Database
and done a bit of googling, can't find a cemetery for him. Since you don't know where he is, can you please go to his page & edit the burial info (click "edit" next to where it says burial, and then select "Burial information unknown at this time"). If you do find where he is buried you can always change it again. This helps to keep the database accurate. I have ancestors in Loudoun in the late 1700s & have no clue where they are buried, and probably never will, and suspect that is probably also the case with Jacob. ~Jen~
