I have been researching my famiy tree since 2003 and so far I have over 1,300 family members and 38 generations listed. |
I have also recently begun researching my husband's family tree, and have over 1,100 family members and 22 generations in his tree so far.
I have found this site to be a godsend and such an invaluable resource to me. I have had others assist me in my search, and I feel an obligation to return the favor to fellow geneologists or family members just wishing to "virtually" visit the graves of their loved ones.
If I have posted a memorial for anyone's family members I will be happy to turn over "ownership" to anyone who asks.

I am hoping that your tree has information about the surname Larrish.
I have a little urgency to my research that I would be glad to explain.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Ada Mourer's mother is Emma Churchill.
I am going to send for Alonson's death certificate to see if I can find out who the Elizabeth is. Maybe a second wife?

I am so confused about Nooksack cemetery.
I just noticed that Ada Mourer's death certificate says she died on 3 October 1937. Her stone says 1938.
That is two mistakes of headstones that I have run across so far in that cemetery.

I was at Oak Hill cemetery, Wi and found Richard Town's grave. No marker was found for Harriet. I found a square area marked off with 2 markers inside - one is Richard's stone and another very old stone of a Selinda C Whitehouse. Between the two stones is an unmarked area, and to the left of Selinda is possibly another small stone embedded in the grass. I took a photo if you would like me to e-mail it to you I can. Let me know if you would like the photo of Selinda's grave.

You are quite welcome. I'm only too happy to help this way. If you'd like to create a memorial page for Elizabeth and/or Abe B. Churchill, I'd be more than happy to post the picture I took of their marker.
I'm going out of town for a few days, but when I get back I'll contact the caretaker and get what information I can on the Mourers and the Churchills. Do you know if any of the other Churchills in Nooksack are connected? Let me know and I'll fill in any info I can gather.

I finally got around to getting pics of Ada's marker. Sorry for the delay. You'll notice that she is buried with her husband, John. Immediately below that marker is one for Elizabeth and Abe Churchill. The caretaker seems to think that Ada's maiden name was Churchill, and that there is a connection. He also has more specifics for dates of birth and death, if you're interested.

It was my honor. We had a hard time finding it because the cemetery isn't marked very well in some areas. Take Care
These names were close to Isabell Lynch.
