I have been interested in family history since 1978 and have enjoyed doing family research since that time. I love this website and have been adding memorials for our family. I hope, if you view any of my memorials you will contact me so I can share what ever information I might have. Some of my family memorials I have listed, not knowing the cemetery, in hopes someone who sees them may be able to tell me. I also have been adding memeorials for my daughter's in-laws family and some from the local cemeteries. So either way, I can possibly tell you something about a number of my memorials. I welcome your questions, comments, corrections etc. I have met some really nice and helpfull people through Find A Grave. It is my most sincere desire to help someone add new data to their research so plese feel free to contact me.|

I found the grave site for Minnie Autenrieb McKale that you had requested and added it to her memorial page. But the death date on her stone says 1929 instead of 1930 but the birth year is the same. I also added her husbands

Massey-Cureton Cemetery was hard to find. I no longer live in Lancaster, Co. and since this was several years ago I'm afraid my memory is no good.
The genealogical "guru" for Lancaster is Lindsey Pettus. He is retired however, but his phone # may be in the Lancaster directory.
My best guess is to give him a call. He was the person who put us on the track. I do recall the cemetery is off 521 North but I can't spot on the map I have as to where to turn. I do know it is to the east of 521. SEM

I'm decended from George's son Nathaniel Newman Hylton. Who is your hubby's line?
|Vickie ||Elizabeth Ann Talbot Dalton|
According to family tree information I have found on Ancestry.com, Elizabeth was born in 1715, most trees indicate Virginia, but one says Maryland. I hope this is helpful.

I'm sorry, my mind and heart have been spinning like a top since Sunday. We lost our family dog that day- 9 years with a wonderful sweet, loving protective American Foxhound. She died in my room, just like the dog that we had before her. They both needed their Mommy when they passed onto my Dad.
I think the cemetery which is in question is the Cureton Cemetery. I'm breathing new life into the work my Uncle Richard did on the family.:) Take care. and thanks!

Rita- I was looking for someone else when I ran into this cemetery. I'm definitely interested- though still don't know how it fits in- because so far I've only been able to track my Curington line to Risner Curington, born 1782 in Georgia and his father Richard Cureton/ Curenton. I was told many years ago (almost 40) that the Curington name changed several times but originally started off with Curry. And that was before the shop's cureator opened the "book of names. The shop was in Montreal, Canada.
But what I am writing to you about is the cemetery itself. Where is it located? From the photo you attached it looks like it needs a lot of work.

I would like to know how you came up with the birth and death dates for George's parents. I have different dates and would like to compare your documentation against mine.
Could you give me a general location for this family cemetery? I am trying to get all Michigan cemeteries mapped
If only the township or section, nothing specific
