Bio

Genealogy has been my hobby for over 25 years. I have been transcribing cemeteries for 15 years. Many kind people helped me out when I started my journey through the family branches and I hope that my cemetery work can help others in their journey.

Tombstone photos that I have posted can be used for your personal use. They are copyrighted, so if you post them on the internet or anything else published for viewing by others, please include credit for the photo.

I have received some very negative feedback because I have asked that people not post copies of documents such as death, birth and marriage records on the memorials that I manage. I have asked this for several reasons. These records can be easily found online and take up limited space in the photo allotment. Many of the documents are very poor quality and are difficult, if not impossible to read. I believe that they look tacky and do not add to the pleasing appearance of the memorial. Some of these documents contain information that I feel is inappropriate to place on the memorial. An example would be someone's cause of death being a suicide. I feel that this is disrespectful to the family of the deceased. They may not want something like that known to everyone. It is more important how someone lived rather than how they died. If you are someone that would rather have these documents on your memorials then that is your choice. I however, do not wish to have them on the memorials that I maintain. My goal is to create respectful memorials to those who have gone before us. Please afford me the respect and not post them.

DO NOT post photos of newspaper obits and articles. If you have obits or articles please type them up and send them through the edit option along with the source of the obit, and I will be happy to include them in the bio section
