Please use the edit tab to put in information, corrections, links, etc., by going to the person's memorial profile.

Please use email if you have questions regarding my memorials or want to know if I have more information. Please do not use the public message board here for this purpose.

Please be sure to give credit where it's due. You may use my pictures for personal use only, with credit given to me: "Photo Courtesy: Dorothy Findagrave #47601262". My photos should not be used for publication in any way or form, without permission or knowledge from me. It's my pleasure to take photos and share them. I also contribute info when I can and often and I also create memorials along the way. I encourage you to contribute too!

I trim my messages occasionally to keep it under control and keep those that I need to do deal with sometime.

A BIG thank you to all memorial creators, photographers, and info contributors who take the time and effort to make this project a huge success. It's really the collaborative effort that we all work together to make this Findagrave possible.

I've always had passion in genealogy. Virtually all my roots started in New England 400 years ago, heavily concentrated in CT and MA. It has been a fascinating journey discovering and learning so much more about my family, their migrations westward, and local history along the way. I have found that Findagrave has been an extremely valuable tool, a great asset in my research.

Betty Buckley photo request

You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for Betty Buckley . I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photos for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. They will also be able to tell you whether or not there is a headstone. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at 1963susansmith@gmail.com Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!

Mary Morris
Edward Cachelin
Hi Dorothy my name is Mary Morris and I'm looking for more information on the Family of Richard Dotson and his Family someof which is Cachelin. I'm looking for any information you can help me with. If you could send me a print out of their Family I would appreciate it. I found some but there are way too many to write by hand. I don't have my own Computer and the ones at the Library are too much trouble to try and print anything out. My address is Mary Morris P. O. Box 1468 Toledo Ohio 43603. I can also be reached by email at memx4@yahoo.com. I got as far as writing for the 1900 U. S. Census Spearfish , Lawrence South Dakota and a message on Findagrave.com as to Columbia Cochelin and 4 kids and 1 at the bottom that reads J. W. Price Male in Ohio. It also read that they had 6 kids and only 4 survived as of 1900. Do you have or know the names of the other Children?? I would appreciate it very much. Thank You for your time. Mary Morris memx4@yahoo.com. Richard Dotson is my 4th Great Grandfather and I'm trying to get as much as information about him and his 4 wives as i can to add to my family Tree on Ancestry.com

Elizur Seymour
Thank you so much for adding on his parents and siblings for me. I am researching all of our Seymour line, which is our family to add as much info as possible. All the Pompey area Seymours are our relatives. My Grandmother was a Seymour and this is her line. I grew up in Skaneateles and our branch helped settle this area. Thanks again.

RE: John Barnes @ Evergreen
I went ahead and transferred his memorial to you.

We just received a dusting of snow this morning and are expecting more mid-week; I'll try to check his plot as the weather will allow. If there are others (I think Section 63 is mostly single & double plots, not large family plots), I'll get photos, create memorials and send them your way.

Best regards,

Rob

John Barnes @ Evergreen
Per cemetery records, the John G. Barnes buried there was born in South Dakota, the son of John Barnes and Elizabeth Ann Carr. The plot owner is listed as Myrtle Barnes, his wife. Online records stop at 1975, so there is nobody else listed at present. I'll make a note to stop by and check when the weather improves.

Hope this helps, please let me know if there's anything else I can do.

Thank you so much for creating this memorial...I had a stroke in 2004-5, and I am just now able to represent the daughter and complete the memorial with the help of the volunteers at the cemetery. The daughter (my mother's cousin) is sending me a picture of her mother and I was promised that I would hear back from the cem office on Monday with plans for: a cemetery plot map; the plot info, and a pic of the grave stone.
I am so willing to get this done for the daughter...I spoke to her last night and she reminded me she is 85. She has been an orphan most of her life, as her father's submarine, the U.S.S. Golet sunk in Honshu Bay, Japan during the Pacific campaign. Thank you for your kindness shown to our Viola.
Please advise if I may provide all this for you to include in her memorial at a later date. Thank you again. Jeanne/WILDWOOD - JRMSB (#46513740.

I am not sure what the inscription reads. Unfortunately, we are knee deep in snow right now so I can't go and check at the cemetery. I will try to remember when the weather gets better and go and check for you.
