I came to Maryville TN to care from my Mom, who had come here 20 years before to care for her Mom. I spent a summer month here all during my childhood but never lived in the family "home place". Since coming here I've become engrossed in family history and find a grave was a place to find out quite a lot.|
I am related to many of my memorials, but if I have created a memorial for any of your relations, especially those only related to me by marriage, just let me know - I am always happy to transfer to a closer relative. If you want to request that I delete the memorial to your closely related loved one, please use the "suggest a correction form".

|billyg||Confederate Soldiers in Winterville|
I am currently seeking descendants of Confederate soldiers in the Winterville Cemetery. If you have any information please pass it on to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am in the process of placing a Confederate Memorial there and would like to have some descendents at the ceremony.

|Joseph Rhea||Duggan-Smith-Rhea Family History|
Hi Linda, You and I are distant cousins. As you know, Joseph Wilson Duggan married Fannie Reed Smith, a daughter of Samuel Houston and Mary M. (Rhea) Smith. I have the genealogy of Mary back to the birth of John Ray in about 1720 who married Hannah Hasty. One of their sons, William, settled in Orange County, NC, and Mary is descended from William through a grandson of William, Joseph Rhea who married Amy Allen. I am in final research and edit phase on a history and genealogy of this Rhea family that includes over 1,000 pages and over 22,000 source and historical notes and citations. Please contact me by email at email@example.com if you are willing to share information on the Duggan-Smith-Rhea family. Joseph C. Rhea
|Liz Christy||Link to me?|
I am a Christy, from Washington State. (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Christy&GSiman=1&GSst=12&GRid=78425729&)I got as far as this listing in my documented Family Tree, when I noticed in your bio, it says you share relations with several of the pictures and folks buried in the cemetery which I found an ancestor! Does this person fit in your tree? If so, we may be kin.

Thanks for this info. I'm not a member of Ancestry.
If you you run across a descendant that has enough info on James O. Smith, I'm happy to contact the editor of the paper.

|Old Waco||James O. Smith|
You wrote some time back about James O. Smith, son of Larkin Smith, Sr. I send family history articles to the Talbotton New Era (no salary) and was wondering if you might want to submit one to this paper in Talbot County. If you don't, you are welcome to send me a sketch on his life (church, vocation, family, a few photos, etc.). I would see if there is enough material for an article; if too long, the editor might need to trim it. I can send you an e-copy of an article that's been printed. I would credit you for any info. or photos. Nice way to document a family, at no expense.
Just put his name on the subject line.

|Brucene Stulen Seal||Alice Angeline Duggan Patterson|
Not sure what the correct spelling of her maiden name is but her marriage record has it Duggan
|Tommy Wood||RE: Thanks|
Yes, you were very gracious in thanking me. I do like to see the memorials personalized with bios and photos.
Sorry to hear about your mom.
As a former caregiver to my 93 year old father who had dementia, heart problems, and diabetes, I know what you are going through. It's really tough and I wish you well.
|Brucene Stulen Seal||Alice Angelique Diggam Patterson|
I have made the corrections you requested
|Tommy Wood||Bios and Photos|
I love the photos and bios you have posted to some of your listings. They really bring the folks to life and keep their stories alive. I try to do the same for my family tree. If you'd like a transfer of Elizabeth, I'd be happy to have any of your family in your hands.
|Tommy Wood||Elizabeth Atchley Cross|
You manage Ruth Atchley's memorial, so I thought I'd let you know that I've linked her only daughter. She is buried at Greenwood in Knoxville. Her daughter's spouse is not located nearby. I do not know his name or burial location.
