Isaac greenwood
Isaac and Amanda Greenwood were my great grandparents. I always thought Issac was Indian. Because of him being Indian he could not be buried in the same area of the Cemetary as Amanda. Recently my two sisters and myself did DNA tests we have 0 percent Indian blood. My grandmother was Mary Etta Greenwood Crouthers. Can you check Cemetary records to see if he was Indian. Thanks Joan linam

I think we may be cousins...I've been researching and found many of my 'folks' in your files. The Cobb/Taylor ones in WV, to be exact. Just thought I'd say hi, since you've done so much research!

RE: Find A Grave Memorial #61213592
Good morning, Ms. Hardway-Hoag.

I am impressed by how quickly you made the correction on the death date of my grandfather on Memorial #61213592. It occurred to me that the reason for the error in the first place may have been the fact that the dates on the photo of the grave stone used in the Find A Grave page shows the stone when the dates are obscured by grass. If you would like to replace that photo with one showing the grave stone unobscured by grass, I can send you a photo I took in 2008 the one and only time I have visited the site. Should you want a digital file of the photo you would need to instruct me on how to send it to you. I can find no obvious way of attaching a file to this message through the Find A Grave message facility.

Sincerely yours,
Roger Wehrell

Do you have gps location of cemetery? Do you have photos of markers? Have wanted to visit these graves but haven't the time to search area. Noticed you don't have Andrew as a child for George and Francis. Have all the documentation on their children. Do you want it?

Hi Donna,
How are you related to all the Jackson;s you entered at Cefar Lawn in Paterson NJ? My husband is a direct relation to them. As you can see, there are numerous duplicates now. As you can also see, mine were there many years before your duplicates. Although I will not delete mine, I will be happy to include your information, giving you credut, before you delete them.

I wpuld be happy to share any info on the Jackson's if you are related. I have been reseaching this famuly for many years.

Best regards,
Linda Jackson

RE: William LaTourette #93830206
This headstone is in Woodlawn. I was up there over the weekend. My fiancÚ's family comes from Newburgh.

It is a military issued headstone. I can email you the photo if you provide your email address. I can't attach it here. The headstone was behind and to the side of the large one in front of it. I thought it was part of the other plot, then I realized he was unrelated.

Otherwise, I can add it to the memorial and if it is not the right person, I can take it off.

You can email me your email address privately using my email address from my FindAGrave page. That way you don't have to broadcast it to everyone.

William LaTourette #93830206
Hi Donna,

I think I have a photo of William's grave, but the dates don't quite match. The headstone I found has William LaTourette (no middle name or initial), born Oct 10, 1880, died April 30, 1962. It is a military headstone so it also has, "New York, PVT CO E 1 REGT INFANTRY, SPANISH AMERICAN WAR", on it.

Can you tell if this is the same person? His wife is nowhere near him or doesn't have a marker. If it is not your William, then I will add a new memorial.

Vicki O.

(Yes, the same VickiO from Cedar Lawn and Laurel Grove in New Jersey -- I was looking for my fiancÚ's relatives today!)

LEAVITTS in Mt. Olive
Hi Donna- You didn't mention any relationship between yourself & the Leavitts in your request for transfer? We aren't overly strict with the "guidelines" and you've done a great job with the bios, etc. on the memorials you have, so we are inclined to transfer them to you. Would appreciate a contact from you explaining your connection to them first though. For now we have linked them to their parents. Finally, what about Ernest # 110734496 & Frank A. #110734455 ?, do you want them transfered also?
