I'm a retired Medical Assistant. I was born in Los Angeles, CA, raised in Reno, NV, and then spent many years of my life in Southern CA where my husband was a professor for many years. After retiring, we moved to Washington state, out in the Islands, and love it. |
I've been interested in Genealogy for about 15 years now, and have been actively searching since then for any/all information I could find regarding my family. Find A Grave has been a god-send...the information posted here, including pictures, has helped me so much, and I'm sure all of you also. Thank you to FIND A GRAVE, and to each and every one of you who has been a contributor to this worthwhile project. It is with reverance that I have searched these files for family/friends that are long gone. It's good to see them noted here, where their families can find them again, and others can pay their respects. Every life is precious, and their stories need to be told.

You are more than welcome to use the photo. Thanks so very much for asking.

I have done a little census research and I believe that the parents of Horace Baldwin Rice are Frederick Allen Rice #61183416 and Charlotte Maria Baldwin Rice #61183644. I hope this is of some help.

I do not have a problem of you using the photo of Baldwin Rice. If you have any suggestion of other family members that I can link Baldwin Rice to parents, spouse or children; that would be wonderful.

I believe there was more biographical info on Mr Rice in the "Standard Blue Book of Texas, 1907-08" which is the source of his photo.

If you have a photo, please do post it; just correct any odd scanning tint (mauve pictures look awful with the pink background, and the green . . GAWK!) and trim any white background from the scanning. I know . . . I sound like a snob . . . I do photo restoration and I hate sloppy insertions. I also noticed that you have an oil speculator having you do his work for him. Been there. Good luck with that! -Rebecca

I found a affidavit by your mother, Lois Andrews Buckskin, about her parents history and her father's probate(Cert. copy) recorded in Hardin County courthouse in Texas today using your input from findagrave.com, which is helpful but still need evidence of Bessie's probate. She acknowledged her death date in Reno but nothing about whether she died with probate or not. You will also need Lois probate eventually for your heir ship. Thanks to you it is coming together for the details needed. I'll be glad to send you copies of what I discovered by email as I go along. I will pursue this as long as they retain me probably until Friday to put it together for current heir ship, which will benefit your family at no charge to yall.

Benjamin Andrews, Jr., married Estelle Cunningham as listed in your memorial but no link to her or the children listed, being Benjamin Andrews and John Andrews.
Do you have some input for them? I appreciate anything to help complete his heir ship research.

I'm researching the family of Benjamin Andrews, Sr., for missing mineral ownership in Texas for their inherited benefits now and in the future. Your input here has answered some questions of who should be entitled to benefits so far. There are other questions though of the rightful heir ship and your further knowledge could benefit all heirs. Thanks for your input in this site so far. I would appreciate if you would help further.
