I have been researching my family history for 40+ years now. I started out trying to confirm family history stories for my grandchildren. Now I have an insatiable curiosity for family history. I love the feeling I get helping others find information on their families.|
When I was little my mom passed from breast cancer & I was told that "no one really dies as long as there is a single person that remembers them." Well I am putting skin on those bone so my grandchildren will remember all those that they never had a chance to meet personally.
I welcome any corrections to the memorials I place on Find A Grave but please use the edit link, not as a public message as those will be deleted.
Please, if you place memorials on Find A Grave make sure you check to see if there is not already one created for that person. I triple check all the memorials I list on Find A Grave before I add them to a cemetery, please don't ask me to delete mine because you did sloppy work, or wanted one of your own. The only way I will remove mine is if yours was posted date is before mine!
If you take a photo of a memorial, please make sure the dates are clear. If they are not clear, Please, retake it, do a rubbing or buy yourself a photo program and learn how to use it.
Lastly, I DO NOT transfer my family members to anyone else, but will be more than happy to honor transfer request for non-family members. Please state your relationship to the person you'd like transferred.

You're most welcome; happy to help. The Cains are in the middle of a large, central, section with many trees.

I am sorry that there was no stone to photograph but the directory verifies that they are buried there and gave the location.

I'm in Montana...so you'll be able to find info about the cemetery just as easily as I could. Good luck in your quest!

They were part of the cemetery list. For exact location you would need to contact the cemetery.

You are very welcome for the photos. The Houps rest at the top of a steep slope that overlooks Burbank, CA and the beautiful mountains that surround the San Fernando Valley. Both the Forest Lawn cemeteries in the Los Angeles areas are places where people come to see the mosaics, sculpture, walk the well-groomed grounds as well as visit loved ones buried there. I come from a very dysfunctional family so I truly appreciate what you are doing for you foster daughter in trying to keep at least the memories of her grandparents alive.
If there are any other people you need photographed just let me know. I'll be happy to help in anyway I can.

Hello, I am so glad you claimed Mr. Haskett. He has been a mystery to me, this stone all alone and no dates. Obiously a civil war soldier, he needs to have some recognition. Happy Graving and let me know if I can be of any help here in Marshall County.
