|Cindy Casper||RE: Ruth Emery|
Although her social security death index and Washington state death index list dates of birth with no location, I have often seen this when those are "unknown" by the reporter. The 1930 US Census has her listed in Hoquiam with a birth place as Canada (English) and an arrival date TO the US in 1926. She is listed with father Roscoe A Burgess, mother Jemima Burgess, older brothers Lester D and Arthur C, and younger brothers Ralph S, all of which are also listed as birthplace Canada (English). If she was born in 1916, this would have made her about 10 when they came to the states. In Canada they also have 10-yr censuses but on the years ending in 1. So there is a corresponding census I have found in 1921 listing her in St. George Parrish, Charlotte, New Brunswick, Canada, with her father Roscoe Burgess, mother Jeanna (clearly one of these censuses is a misspelling) Burgess, and older brothers Morris, Lester, and Arthur. New Brunswick is listed as her birthplace in this census, so we can now be even more specific in updating her Find A Grave memorial. 🙂 Although Morris is not listed in the 1930 census with the family, it is likely because he had his own property and possibly even own family by this time.

Thank-you for adding it Lettie. I appreciate it.

Will you please take a look at #164816989 and see if you can make out the name on it? I feel like it's probably a duplicate of ones of yours since you have thoroughly canvased SSPP, but I'm having trouble figuring out who it belongs to. At the time I took the picture (someone else transcribed), I was thinking it was someone else's that I was trying to get GPS coordinates on, but I don't think it's the relative I originally was thinking of.

Ancestry says birth 1900 death 16 June 1924 found it late last night. Do you have a photo? Are you related? My grandmother was her sister.
Hi I was wondering if their is a marker for Navia Willoughby and where you got the info for her posting? I believe both Nova and Lura where wives of Squire Willoughby . Did they both die in the same year? I have Nova birth year as 1900 and death as 16 June 1924 . But I can find no records at all so I could be totally off. Hoping this is the great aunt I am looking for ! If you have any info that would be great!!! Looks like you share a surname with his other wife buried here too.

Thank you for taking your time to go out on Mother's Day to take pictures of Frank & Marjorie Butters for me. I really appreciate the great pictures.

Photos have been added. Would you like me to transfer Jeremy Michael Hawkinson over to you? He's buried next to Alice and Harold.

I cannot find this grave in Oakwood cemetery. I may be there, unmarked, however. Several monuments are either unreadable or missing also. Since I evidently posted it, someone could have requested it and I entered the information given. I usually keep records of those requests, but did not find it. I'm so sorry I could not help, but I checked all the Find A Grave cemeteries in Gibson County and did not find that name either.
