"This world is not conclusion/Beyond, a sequel stands..." - Unknown
Hanukkah Blessings and Christmas Blessings, too, for all of our friends on this site; I will be back online more routinely after the holidays, but don't want to miss telling everybody that they are in Gannon's and my hearts and prayers... =)
You know that I really am not on here much when I miss my own family's dates, and I didn't get to list my brother's birthday, which was on December 2nd; from Ron's page, you can link to my dad's page, too, as he has a birthday that we always celebrated in December (read the memorial for the details behind that story!) - Thank You ahead of time!:
Ronald Lucien Poynter, Jr.
I have been gone from the site for a couple of weeks again, and am saddened to return to find that there are still some issues over who visits what page, puts what memorial up...I want to say this: If you visit any of my pages, and my loved ones and the military members, the children, the homicide victims - ANYBODY that I have posted the page for or manage it at the least, you are ALWAYS, ALWAYS welcome to leave any token, words and blessings. Of course, please keep political or religious respect in mind - this time of year with Hanukkah and Christmas, yes, please do try to remember who may or may not believe in which event...but as grumpy cat as I can be at times, I have always considered even those little slips simple human error, and I would never think of writing to somebody and yowling that I didn't like a token. Instead, I am honored that somebody took a moment to visit at all, and I appreciate it...but this does continue to be an issue, I guess, and so I do want to acknowledge that I too am almost uncomfortable anymore, visiting pages that were suggested, or those of folks that I do not know. I think that this is a shame, and the antithesis of what this site stands for - and so remember, if you want a name highlighted, you MUST tell me, now...I do not do it on my own, anymore. =( And lastly, I have said it again and again, Friends - Time is short here, and I don't understand why anybody would want to spend it unhappy or looking for a reason to be unhappy. Send virtual cookies and hugs to one another, and remember that we're all in the same boat, on the same sea and looking for land, okay?
This young man passed away in 2012, at far too young an age; Thank You to Kait for the name:
Aric Duane Fleury
This little angel, a victim of child abuse, needs some balloons and teddy bears; Thank You:
When my own mother passed this last August, I thought often of the saying "Anybody who does not long for the past...never had a mother." That quote is in my thoughts again tonight as site member and friend Zuzu's Petals places her own mother's memorial page online. Please visit this lovely woman and wish her well on her new journey:
Katharyn Lula Inez "Kate" Shoemaker Weston
And here is another mom, loved and missed by all who knew her:
Georgia Lorene Kelly Parish
The father of member and friend Marylee has an ANGEL DAY on November 9th:
Robert Leroy "Bob" Sterling
Here is a gentleman who was taken far too soon:
Melton Ray Wales
Many of the severely ill or disabled in our lines have been relegated to a first name and, if I'm lucky a photo and some general information - I have been trying to find more of Ivy's life and story for a very long time. Please visit this little angel, who obviously had struggles that no child should have...it has always bothered me that she seems almost forgotten or ignored. Thank You -
Ivy Laurel Hill
This gentleman has an ANGEL DAY on November 5th, Thank You to DEBRA for allowing his name to be posted for tokens:
George Washington Sanders
This is a page that I just liked, and the photos are lovely:
Beverly Jean Serres
Here is just a heartbreaking situation - three little siblings lost in a car crash. Thank You to MAGGIE for the names:
This Korean War vet has recently passed away; please visit him with words of gratitude for his courage and service to our country:
Robert George, Jr.

You wrote "Sir - I am trying to decipher where you and I might be related...it is an honor to visit your memorial page." at the Walter Hilgers memorial.
I just added a photo for this person, maybe I can help?
