|LSP||John Dunlap Transfer request.|
Again, sorry I'm related to John (& Margaret) also and want to keep. I've done a lot of research on them. I add to my Find A Grave sites for them from time to time as well.
Yes, I've seen mention of Duke of Argyll. I've found lots of data on the various Dunlops and the Ilk. Not all of it is documented. I tried but did not succeed in positively identifying this John to the Ilk but know they must be related. Years ago, I wrote Dr. JAM Hanna, author of House of Dunlap, about this John, the "professor" and he wrote me he did not document all of it (have one of his books on Hanna). I spoke to him on the phone as well. See Find A Grave Memorial# 86214118. There seems to be a lot of confusion about John and the few remaining candidates for his leaf on the family tree. Some say he was born in NC or spent time there and went back to Scotland where his children were born.
If you like send me your email addy on one of my Dunlap/lop sites as it's private. I'd love to know how we are related.

Re transfer request. Sorry, she's my kin too.
Her family data may go back further in the existing Edinburgh records. Wish I could go back there and dig deeper. I never got around to contacting the Campbeltown surnames to find living kin there. There are lots of Dunlops and Colvilles there today, but only 1 Colvin. Would love to see the view of N. Ireland from their area on a sunny day.
How are you related? Can you add anything to her Find A Grave site?

Please see Find A Grave procedures for transfer requests. At a minimum you should provide your member number

I am wondering if you are a descendant of Sallie Angeline Dunlap Dinkle (later remarried Tichenor). Her brother Charles W Dunlap was my great grandfather.
I became interested in the Debeque family when I started running across Debeque gravestones so started doing some research on the family. I would be glad to add any information you have and if you see any errors I have posted, please let me know. I am going over to Debeque Cemetery soon and photograph the Degeque's there.
