RE: Mem # 108625619

I have sent a request to the person who manages the memorials for both Mayme and Nora and asked to have them linked up with their father, mother, and husbands. I am not able to do that.

Also, I just took a photo of Mayme's headstone yesterday and have added it to her memorial.

Thank you!

Ok, so the memorial for Ruth Elaine Carpenter (74821703) is the daughter of Geraldine (Cross) & Wm. Carpenter?
Thank you for helping me with this. I really appreciate it.

RE: Memorial# 100007230
I found 2 items that I think pertain to Geraldine's death.
dob - 29 Mar 1916;
dod-10 Sep 1996 V; age 80
last residence:Caro, Tuscola, MI 48723
Issued by: Michigan

And then the MI death index on Family Search has:
"Michigan, Death Index, 1971-1996," Geraldine Mae Carpenter, 1996

Does that sound like you Great Aunt?
I was wondering if she is buried in the same cemetery as her husband & if she had any children.
I've not been able to locate her on the 1940 census, but that didn't surprise me because of her maiden name &/or her married name.
If the Wm. Carpenter is her husband that will help me fill in a few blanks.
Thank you for any help.
Geraldine would have been my 2nd cousin, once removed.
Her grandfather, Milton Fisk Cross was a brother to my G. Grandfather, Uriah Cross

Wondering if you are related to William Carpenter and if maybe you have a little more information.
I'm researching Geraldine May Smith who married a William Carpenter.
If you can help I'd appreciate it.

RE: Memorial #74821703
I am not sure. I could check and see if Ruth is buried by them. I believe all the girls are living out of state now. Meredith is out in Colorado.

Well, Meredith is my half sister. I met Meg when I was taking the photo of Ruth's marker.
