I don't know why, but I have always been interested in graveyards and the many different types of headstones. It seems everytime time I pass a cemetery in my car, I slow down and take a peek.|
I am mainly interested in the names Agee, Best, Bondurant, Copeland, Elliott, Fernandez, Fonda, Kaufman, Laur, O'Hara, Parker, Pippin, Snell, Van Gelder, and Williams. All decendents [at least by name]. But I will also post memorials on friends and distance relatives.
When I post a memorial, I try and give you references where I found the information. However, if I find the information such as cemetery listings while doing research on the names I mentioned above, I will post those also [without the reference], even though they may or not be related.
If you find errors in my posting, please feel free to provide the corrections, but please provide me a reference and Email me that reference. Of course photos are always welcomed and if you would care to sponsor a site, please do so.
Also, I do not care to accumulate memorials just to have a lot of numbers on my profile. If you are a direct family member, I will be happy to transfer any memorial. Please provide me your relationship.
Also if you are interested in obtaining photos at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines, here is how you obtain those. I was there recently and I talked to them about photo requests. I talked to the receptionist named April dela Virgen and she said they are happy to do that for you and the will send you a .jpg file of the grave or memorial. You can email her at email@example.com or others at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.

What info would you be speaking of? You're very kind. Thank you again!

I just came to visit my dad and decided to search where in the cemetery someone else was. I don't know why I decided to search my dad's name again but I saw that you recently added a record for him. This is very kind of you and very thoughtful to also add a picture. That was the last flower I left for him a couple of weeks ago. It never occurred to me how people were added here. I would have added him had I paid attention to the option ha ha but how nice to find a complete stranger acknowledge someone you love who they don't know either! I became a contributor a while ago and signed in to see if there were any unclaimed requests for this location. I've only received one notification ever. May I ask how/why you came about making my dad's record? I read your info. Just wondering if you just happened to visit this cemetery by chance? Again, thank you. God bless. -Trish

There is no Sycamore Cemetery, perhaps you are referring to Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore.

Looks like you and I were on the same path -- possibly this week at Glen Abbey. I just want to let you know I'm not trying to be rude by posting another photo to T. Logue's memorial... it's a little clearer than the one you posted Nov 19, however, I do love the yellow flower on yours!
P.S. You beat me to a few others too, but your photos were much better than the way mine turned out!

Me again, I was looking at the death certificate of the mother. They died on the same day. It's quite possible they are buried together.

Ok, just curious. I have several relatives buried there on the Hatcher side. I visit there every time I go to WVA. I will be going down in the spring and will look for another infant. It could be unmarked as well. I'll look at that certificate and see if I can read it to tell who the parents would have been. I know my grandparents are buried there but they didn't have any children die that young. My uncle died at about 8 years.

You have a photo request for an Infant Hatcher @ Birchfield, could this be the same as Everlyn J. Hatcher 1933-1934?
I don't know of any other infant Hatcher's buried there.

James has no marker but is buried next to an infant daughter of his. I will try and get a photo of that area soon.
