I'm the daughter of Paul "Pinky" Rademacher (1953-2007) and Anne Rademacher (1955-2011). Dad is best remembered by his amazing sense of humor. He knew how to make people laugh. Mom was a member of the Portland Historical Society and enjoyed researching Portland's past as well as our family genealogy.
I'm having a lot of fun cemetery walking and looking at graves. Someday, I would like to go to Germany and try to find the graves of my ancestors.
I think it's important to our history that we know the names of people who lived centuries ago. Even though we may never know the impact that they had, we know that they were here at one time to make an impact. | |

 | Rumpsa Hi there...I saw the msg you sent to Ed in reference to the transfers. It's been my experience with him that if you do fall within the guidelines of transfers, you will have to go through Find a Grave to get them transferred. This man used to have a notice on his profile page stating NO TRANSFERS NO EXCEPTIONS. Seriously..he did. With my mother-in-law, I had to go through Find a Grave and they transferred it. Good luck!! Just thought I would let you know! :) --CarrieAdded by A84C72 on Apr 05, 2013 9:06 PM | | | Patty Hall

 | Father Auer Hi Tracy, Sorry to bother you, I wondered if you can tell me the date on Father Auer's tombstone that he was ordainned. I do the Portland, Michigan: Hometown History page on facebook and I did a little story about him. I'd like to include the date of his ordination if you can read it. Your photographs are ALL great and I appreciate all that you do on findagrave. Sincerely, Marilyn | | | Marilynn Johnson
