I caught the cemetery/family history bug from my parents. It seems like our family vacations centered around which ancestors we were researching at the time. I've been to many cemeteries that are "just down the road a bit, past the red barn, and to the right of the oak tree"... ☺|
I've been doing family history for thirty years and love it. I feel like I know my ancestors, and it's amazing to see what trials so many of them went through.
I've set up many memorials from cemetery records in hopes of locating ancestor's burial locations, so if I have any of your friends or family members that you would like to maintain, please let me know and I will gladly transfer them to you.
Note: While some Findagrave contributors profess that this isn't a genealogy site, it was purchased by Ancestry.com in 2013, becoming part of one of the largest genealogy sites in the world.

Thank you for the transfers. I tried sending photo requests but it said it might take a long time because there are no volunteers within 50 miles of the cemetery. I'll get with my brother in Georgia and my cousin in Nova Scotia and see if they know someone who lives closer. However, if you do find yourself that way it would be a much appreciated blessing. Thank you for everything.

Thank you for Thomas! Yep, Georgina was his wife at the time of his death. He married late in life and they only had three daughters together prior to Thomas's death. I think he was quite active with probates in the legal community in and around County Dublin, Dublin City, County Meath and County Westmeath. Please check back for more goodies on his memorial. I will be working on it this week and then continuing with updates once I have gotten some history from family members. Again, thank you kindly for the transfer! One day, my plan is to retire in Ireland (and NOT Noise Jersey!) and hopefully I will still be able physically to photograph some of the oldest cemeteries there. Kind regards, Bridey Light

I just noticed that we have "spoken" once on here. I know that my brick wall through our Ogden/Ogdon family is John W Ogden's father. I have seen the name Robert attached, but I haven't located any records. Do you have any research?

I saw your comment on Mary Mersey Lucas Wood's findagrave. Mary Mersey Lucas Wood is my 6th Great Grandmother through Mary Molly Wood Ogden. I would love to be in contact with you.
Thank you so much for the Roy info!
