Hello from New Mexico. I've been excavating and cataloging pioneer cemeteries for over 30 years. In the 1980s I even published a few works on the subject. Like most of you, I'm also an avid genealogist. While I enjoy finding the graves of famous people, I'm more interested in the common soldier and pioneer. Every one of them has a story.
As for genealogy, I am currently working on the surnames Trine, Minter, Dozier, Shackleford and Marquez. I'm also collecting the names and graves of the Maryland 6th Infantry.
I'm usually "on the road," so my photos come from wherever I happen to be. I've had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of wonderful people who share this love for history. Contact me if I can be of any help to you.
ABOUT TRANSFERS: I am happy to transfer anyone who is not my direct ancestor. | |

 | RE: John Curran Hi Eddie --
Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate you trying to get a photo of John Curran's headstone. In lieu of there being one, I'd be happy to see a photo of the area where it once was.
Best regards --

 | RE: Henry & Ellen Rust Thank you for transferring these memorials to me. I am kind of new to this and it's all very exciting to find a loved one already in Find A Grave. Thanks for your time. | | | Sandra Koors
 | Icy WOOD Tufts Hi Eddie,
Yes please transfer her to me and I will update her info. I found more info on her yesterday where she had remarried to a Jackson which was her older sisters husband.
Your work is very much appreciated on Find A Grave. Many of my family members are also buried in Odd Fellows in Corinth. I hope to get back down there again and search some more for my grandfather and his first born and only son. I was told they both have stones, but I can't seem to locate them.
I miss Eddie Rogers that use to own the Furnel Home down there, but will contact McDaniels and see if they can clue me in.
If you need any help on your search let me know, my family tree is more like a forest..lol.. so many names I know thanks to my mom and down.
Sincerely, Sandra | | | Bev Sexton
