I grew up in Johnstown, moving to west Michigan in 1980. I did research for almost 30 years, and just graduated with my Masters in Social Work on April 29th, 2011. My daughter graduated on April 30, 2011 with her BS in Statistics!|
I am currently not taking any photo requests for Riverside Cemetery in Albion. This is a large cemetery, and many of the older stones are no longer readable. The sextent is there M-F, and the Albion Chamber of Commerce has not responded to my e-mail request for a walking map of the cemetery. A friend and I spent hours out there recently trying to fulfill specific findagrave requests, with no success.
Once I have a map I will begin going there again, but if you want me to photograph a monument, it is imperative that you determine where your loved one is located (plot number)....indicating Riverside Cemetery solely is not enough.
You will notice that there are quite a few Riverside Cemetery requests. Apparently I am not the only person having difficulties there.
I am providing these photos for anyone to use. Please go ahead and upload them to your family tree websites, etc. You have my permission; you do not have to contact me first to ask my permission.

Thank you for the update on Ruth's memorial. I've linked her with her two children. Son Jimmie Brown and daughter Rosalee Caudill. I found the newspaper article listing the accident that occurred. There were six people that had died in the accident.

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to say thank you, long story, but I am not getting back into adding headstones to Find-A-Grave. But anyway THANK YOU VERY MUCH and I understand.
|Elizabeth Wholihan||Thank you!|

Just a friendly note.
You accidentally duplicated a previous memorial page I created for Natina Reed. You might wish to delete it.
|Ginger Carrick||Etta Carrick - Riverside Cemetery|
Thanks so much for the marker photo for Etta Carrick at Riverside Cemetery. I'm sorry that it was so much trouble for you though. Hope they provide a map to make it easier. Thanks again.
|Bushong Weiss||Riverside Cemetery , Tekonsha|
Thank you so much for all your work. Sorry, about the other memorials of no markers or no records. Hope we can work on the mystery cemetery.
|Juanita Daigle||Lowell Headstones|
Thank you for attempting to get the photos I requested for the Lowells. I did not realize that a Tornado did damage there, there were so many this year that caused damage. But, again, thank you very much for the attempt.

I heard about the "tornado of Battle Creek". My father lives there. I will so appreciate if you do get a chance after things are cleaned up, to get a picture of this grave for me. Thanks again.
|Daphne Maxwell||Warren Acker|
Thank you so much for the photo!
|Donald Knapp||Mary and Charles Heliker|
Thank you very much for the headstone photos. Interesting sidelight, the Newton Cemetery is located on part of my great grandfather's, William P. Fanning, farm. Thanks again.
