24th Battery Indiana Light Artillery: and 26th Battery Indiana Light Artillery (Wilder Battery)
I found your virtual cemetery on Find A Grave for the 19th to 26th Indiana Cavalry. I had previously emailed you in regard to the 5th and 6th Indiana Cavalry, but I wanted to contact you again concerning these two units.

As you probably know, the 24th Battery Indiana Light Artillery: and 26th Battery Indiana Light Artillery (Wilder Battery) were at the siege of Knoxville.

Planning has begun to recreate the 1890 Blue and Gray Reunion in Knoxville. The East Tennessee Historical Society, the Knoxville Civil War Roundtable and several organizations are participating in plans for a parade, receptions, music, dinners, meetings, speakers, etc., and fireworks. The Historical Society is currently composing a list of possible contacts in hopes of reaching descendants of those who fought in the East Tennessee Campaign.

Descendants and researchers of the units in the East Tennessee campaign are going to be invited to join us for the reunion.

If you would like to be the Point of Contact for the 24th Battery Indiana Light Artillery: and 26th Battery Indiana Light Artillery or could suggest a person to take that role, would you please contact me with your information?

Could you add this memorial you created (Find A Grave Memorial# 47429795) to the 65th Indiana Infantry Virtual Cemetery you also created. I am researching him and will forward any information I can find on him in the future, or if you like I can take over stewardship of his memorial. Thank you, Bobby Miller (#47330515)
