My name is Lanette Estill-Cooper & I live in central California. Most of my contributions have been in Howard County, Missouri & San Luis Obispo County, California. Death & birth certificates often have misspellings and incorrect information. If you are related to these interees & have any corrections I will gladly change them. Please don't get mad at me like the crazy lady from Hawaii.
If you have information that you would like added I'll be happy to do that also. I am more than happy to make transfers for friends & family. You are welcome to use any of the pictures that I have posted on findagrave.
Half of my entries are in the Santa Margarita Cemetery in Santa Margarita, California. I was helping the local historical society with this cemetery but I am not related to anyone in it. There are about 100 names I haven't listed yet. There are about 100 unmarked graves as well, for which I have some names. If you don't see your relative on findagrave, e-mail me & I will look on the roster I have. If you have any info on these people or any interesting stories about them, the Santa Margarita Historical Society would love to hear from you. They have their own website.
I am always interested in exchanging information with distant cousins. All my people come from Howard County, Missouri or Chaffee County, Colorado. Some of the surnames in my family are Estill, Fisher, Bertschy, O'Malley, Crowley, Lynch, Cowan and Loughney.
Don't worry about it. I was only just able to confirm Matilda's parents after reading the files for VA Chancery Court Case #1849-015, Madison Co. VA, Stonesiffer vs Yager. Fortunately it contains many details on the heirs of Michael Yager.
I appreciate your work in posting so many Howard County graves.
RE: Hattie Amelia Sumner Gonzales I don't want to appear like a complete idiot, but I can't find the photo of John Gonzales headstone. did you send it to me or put if on Find A Grave? Some days I need a seeing eye dog just to get me through, sorry for the inconvenience and thanks a hundred times for going the extra mile and finding Teresa. That's what makes this work so incredible isn't it. Mary Jones
Hattie Amelia Sumner Gonzales Hi Lanette, As I return to this line of my husband's family, I find myself baffled by something. I don't know who entered the information on the above captioned memorial, but Ada Ernestine Haskins is Hattie's mother according to my records. There is a copy of the marriage license between her and George Gilbert Sumner that is the right time frame right place, so I'm just wondering if maybe this isn't a typo. Can't find any other documentation at this time to back my thoughts up, and there is another Hattie Audry Haskins but in an earlier generation. She was in fact Ada Ernestine's sister. Let me know what you find out and I'll correct my records if you have better info. Still can't find graves for either George Gilbert Sumner or Ada Ernestine Haskins Sumner, and that would be really helpful. Thanks, Mary Jones
