I'm an amateur singer/guitarist. When taking pictures at cemeteries & adding interments to this site, I started with my own family (charity begins at home, as they say). Then I did the same for friends & for people whose deaths made headlines in my local newspaper. Now I take grave pics & add pages for people whether or not I ever knew them or heard of them. Besides gravestones themselves, my major sources of info have been the BYU-Idaho burial index & the Utah burial index.|
Since the summer of 2007, due to rising gas prices & other hobbies & interests both online & off, my gravestone photography trips have been very few & far between. But I do appreciate the feedback I have received from family & friends of those for whom I've added pages &/or grave pics.

|SLGMSD||Lion Tyler Miles - two cenotaphs are NOT a duplicate|
Duplicate. An older page for him (#56784256) was created in 2010 & later transferred to you. Would you mind deleting this one? That way we can cut down on duplication. Thanks.
Find A Grave Memorial# 56784256 - 2010
This memorial is located in Manila, Philippines. His name appears on the Tablets of the Missing. This memorial is a cenotaph and I have a request in to designate it as such.
More info on Tablets of the Missing:
On rectangular Trani limestone piers within the hemicycles, are inscribed the Tablets of the Missing containing 36,285 names. Rosettes mark the names of those since recovered and identified.
Find A Grave Memorial# 67490815 - 2011
This memorial is located at the USNA Cemetery in Maryland as his parents engraved the name of their son on their stone for the plot where they are interred.
They are NOT duplicates and should NOT be merged as they physically exist in TWO different countries. They are cenotaphs due to the fact that the remains of this individual were never recovered.
I have had to work with FindAGrave admin previously when a well meaning contributor requested that memorials physically located in two different locations and countries be merged. FindAGrave admin restored restored the memorial pages that were merged.
If there is a known cenotaph or memorial marker for one of these alternative dispositions located in a cemetery, add the memorial to the cemetery and add a note to the memorial indicating that it is a cenotaph and what, if known, happened to the individual's remains.
