|I have been an avid genealogist since 1995. Through family documents and the evolution of the internet I have been fortunate enough to connect with other family members and share information. I find genealogy an interesting way to learn about the time in which my ancestors lived, what they did for a living, where they lived, and who they lived with.|
I came across this site by finding a memorial for my maternal great-grandmother which included a photo of her grave. I have since been to see her grave and it makes me feel closer to a grandmother that I never got the opportunity to meet but who I heard great stories about.
Some of the people that I have memorials for are family members while many others are from the transcribing of tbe BC Archives (http://search-collections.royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/Genealogy/BasicSearch). If you are related to any of the people whose memorial I am responsible for, I would love to hear from you.
If you would like me to transfer a memorial of someone related to you and not to me, please ask.

Thank you for offering additional information, Val. Would you have a first name for this person, and is "SCT" perhaps Scotland?
I am not related to anyone at Shady Creek. If she is your relative, I would transfer her to you.

|Ann Jensen||Information on Charles Churchman, Jr is incorrect.|
Charles E. Churchman was my grandfather. His father's name was Charles Henry so he was not a 'junior'. His mother's name was Leila Maud Perkins. Charles E. Churchman was born in Hyeres, France on October 10, 1900 (his father was born in England, not France). His ashes were scattered. I just found this site via a family research site and was interested in seeing my grandfather's information, even though it was partially wrong. Could you please fix it? Thanks!
interesting he died in BC but has a marker in Edmonton
I have added the info you provided. Are you related? If so will transfer him to you

She is in the cemetery transcript for St. Peters Cemetery. It disagrees with the death certificate, and there are other cases like that. Saint Peters and Fraser are right next to each other.
|Marje Lepnurm||Alfonsas Gudaitis|
I noticed that you had entered the memorial for Alfonsas Gudaitis, and was wondering if you might be related to him. I am helping one of his relatives in Lithuania try to find more information about him. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
|Carol Cotton||Olaf Reynolds|
I entered some edits for Olaf and Edith Reynolds. (Yates Cemetery - Parksville). They're an uncle and aunt. Please approve. Thank you and thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave. It's a great research tool.
