Please try to verify any information that you want me to add, as I am an absolute stickler for accuracy in my genealogy. I am not like the many people who add things to memorials and trees and do not even check to make sure that it's accurate.

I will be happy to transfer any memorials provided that you can prove that you are directly descended from, or that you have a lot of information and photos to add.

PLEASE do not use chalk, shaving cream, bleach, or anything else to better read the tombstone. Even chalk has chemicals that ruin the delicate tombstones (especially the older ones).

Instead, please use the native soil in the cemetery. I can say from experience that this method produces fine results. This method was given to me by a professional.

I have no problem with others using the photos that I have taken for use in their family trees. However, it is common courtesy to acknowledge the photographer for their time and effort. I only ask that if you do use the photos that I've taken, you please mention that you found them on FindAGrave and you use this to acknowledge me:

Earl Dee Barron Sr.
I'm researching the father of Earl Barron's wife, Lois Neal. I know they were divorced and she wasn't mentioned in his obituary, but I am after any tidbit that could help me prove or disprove the identity of her father, Russell A. Neal of Baylor County, Texas. If you have any information that could help me, I have been studying Russell's work most of my life. I am not related but I know more about him than most of his descendants do. But I have to prove that he is the same Russell Neal that I know of. The evidence is very strong that I am right. Please let me know, and if you prefer to email me, it's stumpednomore, gmail.

Willie Keils
Thanks for this very much. He was killed in a riot during Reconstruction; I read about him in some history books.

RE: William Keils
I have done some research and added some information to his memorial # 5684567 if you would like to look at it again. I also requested a photo of his headstone. Thanks for contacting me.

Wiley Oliver
Lindsey, I was wondering if you could provide any information on Wiley Oliver. I see that the Oliver cemetery cannot be located. What information did you come across for the 3 people that are buried in the Oliver Cemetery. Any information will be great.
Thank you very much,
Janet Evans

Jones Cemetery

Thanks for the trip to Jones Cemetery and the pictures of the Jones and English markers. Flat markers will eventually get covered and I think they are a bad idea.

I hope it wasn't too hard to get to.

Thanks again.

Dawkins Family Cemetery
Lindsey, My MIL is a Dawkins and I believe she is related to the people who are buried in this small family cemetery. Where did you get the information on the cemetery location and the names of those buried there?

RE: Mrs. Bowden
Hi Lindsey,
We may be related, My Mother was a Fenn from Clayton and I'm related to the Efurds, Laseters, Bennetts, and others. Some are buried at Union, Clayton, Louisville, and Mt. Zion. Are you related to Judge Bowden, who was the District Judge in Barbour Co?

This is what I copied from someone and use it whenever someone wants the credit for their work.

You might want to add it to your profile, makes things easy.

Ernest Council Stephenson
Thank you for the comments of the photography. I received this photo from a Stephenson descendant named Craig Blackshear. I have other photos of this man and they are all similar. I do believe this is Ernest Council. I will make a note of that on the memorial.
Thank you,
