Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the family genealogist/historian. If I posted a record of someone you searched, chances are we are related or I am close to the family and posted for them.

Please follow FindAGrave's guidelines (as well as other sites) regarding copyright of pictures. Remember to ask kindly and state relationship and reason/intended use.

If I contacted you about a correction or addition my intent is always to be thankful for the wonderful work FindAGrave members provide. This does not mean I am asking for a transfer unless I specifically ask. I will accept transfers to help maintain a memorial. My goal is to share information and to contribute towards helping duplicate memorials be removed. I know it can be a challenge with so many ways to spell a surname. When I help others learn how to use FindAGrave, I repeat the care to take when confirming the person is not already posted with all of the possible spellings, as well as the cemetery.

Happy Hunting...

RE: Maud Thompson
I cannot thank you enough, Cheryl, for opening my eyes a bit more. Yes, in searching Tarver line, I have begun to see what you refer to as "complicated relationships" and other entanglements. I was always told if cousins marry too close that can create the problem my grandmother, Maud Tarver, had of 5 miscarries of the 7 children she had. Thanks for such a prompt reply! Looking for Grandmother's mother
Is my grandmother, Maud S. Thompson, one of the 'missing' children you mention for gravesite # 31142972, John Allen Lassiter, born 1846, Died 1878. His wife, Anne Killough Anderson Lassiter (1847-1931) may be her mother. Maud S. Thompson is listed as child of W. G. Thompson with no mother of record. Could this mean she was adopted by Thompson? Maud's birth approx 1873 because she is 17 when she marries my grandfather, Walter T. Tarver. Maud has 7 children with only 2 live births; Georgia Lee Tarver, born 1898 and my father, Ernest Jackson Tarver, born 1909. She dies early in 1915 when my Dad only 6 years old. I have a good studio photo of Maud made in Montgomery, Alabama, approximately 1900 when Georgia is about age 2. Can you help me? Thank you. Jacqueline Tarver Casey.

John Montreville McNeil
I just now realized. This is my great great grandfather. My grandma was Maude Lucy McNeil DeHart. I hope you find more information. Good Luck.

I don't remember why I put that there. I am thinking I put in a grave request that someone failed to find for me. Sorry I could not have been more of a help.

Infant Son Carr 65064219
Would you happen to have a photo of the headstone at Russell Cemetery for this child and his infant sister?

Hessey Cemetery
I have found a bit of information that may help a little. It was added by the person that surveyed the cemetery along with severalcemeteries in the area. Anyway this is what he wrote in reply to a query:

I am a descendant of JOHN HESSEY and his wife, REBECCA HEWGLEY by their daughter, MARY ANN HESSEY, who married CHARLES WRIGHT.

JOHN and REBECCA are buried in the family cemetery south of Central Pike and east of Carver Lane in Wilson Co. not far from the Davidson Co. line.

JOHN HEWGLEY HESSEY was their son and a brother of MARY ANN.

Someone posted(picture request) that they could not find it and it was not listed in the Wilson County cemeteries. That is true. The ones in that survey and there are many of them were by Henry Cuttrell and he surveyed ones in mostly different area of Wilson CO

Will let you know if I find anything more. I know it would have been near where my mother grew up
