Bio and Links
Bio Photo Atlanta, Georgia native saluting the contributions of known and unknown individuals, pacifically the fundamental role that African American's have played in the making of the American republic. Many of these known and unknown individuals broke barriers in the political, educational and entertainment arenas, as well as built up their communities, and achieved beyond what others deemed impossible. All saluted, from the famous to the obscure, deserve our gratitude, for their lives clearly demonstrate in some way-through perseverance, fortitude and hard work that people can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles to fulfill their dreams and share their gifts with the world. Find A Grave provides all of us a opportunity to learn about some of these individuals behind the struggles and triumphs that have helped shape the world in which we live. My hope is that more people will become more aware of the contributions that many of these individuals have made.

Death teaches us to remember the things that matter the most.

Thank you to everyone who leaves tokens of remembrance for my memorials, especially my loved ones. Also a special thank you to those who have sponsored memorials of my deceased relatives. God Bless!

RE: Susie Broughton
Hi Curtis,

I apologize but I only went to the cemetery one day and have been unable to return to better understand the layout of the cemetery, etc. and to upload more memorials. I cannot recall exactly where I was in the cemetery on that day.

I encourage you to call the cemetery, since they are often able to help you locate your loved ones. The phone # listed is 404-761-5400.

Dear Ccurtis
Thank you so much for the visit for Yannis's Angel day. It made a hard day a little easier to know that so many friends care.

Inez Andrews
I was going to ask the same thing. And wondering if Albertina Walker had a final date on her crypt. Are you in Chicago or if not, know anybody who could?

RE: Re: Bishop Hosley

You may be interested in a blog that I just started about the residents of South View. It can be found at It's in its infancy stages, but I have been so fascinated by the people I am finding there. It also saddens me about how little South-View is being discussed, so I decided that I would take it upon myself to start the documentation trail. I am starting in the area where the Herndon's, Crogman's, Holsey's are buried. I am not sure how often you visit, but as I am beginning the research I am finding some very interesting people. I haven't had a chance to blog about it, but I can't wait to discuss William Sherman Cannon (and his line of successful sons). Do you know about them?

Take care,
