I live in Oklahoma City, OK. I have always had an interest in my family tree and in cemeteries. My dad died when I was 3 years old, and my only real connection to him has been through pictures, stories from family and his grave. I have always found it interesting to search through old cemeteries and wonder what the "story" might have been for those buried there. I lost one son when he was 30. When I found this website, I wanted to add a memorial for him. I am now in the process of adding more family members. | |

I believe I found the connection you're looking for! Mary Ann "Polly" McDaniel has TWO sisters! Lucinda born in 1841 or 1847 and Harriet E. McDaniel born 1854 in Missouri City, Great Bend, Texas. She would be my 2nd great grand aunt. | | | J. D. McConnell

Mary Ann Poly McDaniel could've had siblings but I don't have any documented. Not seeing anything on ancestry about either but will continue to search. Its unlikely she was an only child. I say that because families were notorious for having many children. | | | J. D. McConnell

Leonard "Lennie" Harrison Aleshire was born to Willard Riley Aleshire (1849-1910) and Mary Ann "Polly" McDaniel Aleshire (1850-1916).
Mary Ann "Polly" McDaniel was born to Houston McDaniel (1831-1866) and Delila J. Wright McDaniel (1831-1866). I show Polly as an only child but there may been more but I do not have others documented.
