I'm happy to transfer any memorials of people I'm not related to.
FIRST please read the FAQs here: Transfers
Then click on the EDIT tab at the top right corner of the memorial and then click
"Suggest any other correction or addition". This will generate an e-mail from Find A Grave with links to the memorial and your member page... less chance for errors this way.

I'm only human and I make mistakes (especially when my "Coffee Low-Level Warning Light" is blinking); so any Edits or additions are gladly welcomed. ^_^

For corrections/additional facts for a memorial,
see here: Corrections
Then click on the EDIT tab at the top right corner of the memorial. It's easy to make edits to Dates/Places, Family Links, Name, Plot/GPS location, and Marker Transcription. For Bio info or to notify me of a duplicate, you still need to click "Suggest any other correction or addition".

Caring Graver
I appreciate all your help. It's nice to have someone help to point out things.

Thanks so much for that information. When I started I copied what other grave markers posted. Now I know better.
I'm currently in California. I'll have to make corrections when I return. I don't have wifi and using up data on 3G

I've taken photos of 2 cemeteries out here.. The one I am at now has 2 cemeteries side by side. I'm working the oldest section first. There's a lot to be done and not enough time! It is like Oakwood cemetery spread apart.

Again, thanks

Nathaniel Attig
Hi Rich. I have posted my photo to Nathaniel's original memorial page as per your request. I also deleted my page. I'm sorry for the duplication. Must have been my "low coffee light" kind of moment! If I can be of further assistance please let me know.

RE: Stanley Mraczek, St. Gregory, North East
Thanks for your reply, Rich. I have just added Stanley's WWII Air Corps graduation picture to the site. My heavens, but they were all so young! My eyes are tearing up, they really were the Greatest Generation.

Stanley and Helen lived on Dougan Road, north of Station Road, in a kind of ramshakle trailer, and had 3 kids, Dianne, Jerry and Tommy. He worked later in his life at GE, as a welder, I think, but not sure. He was older when he married, probably 40's. Believe me, if you had known him, you would know it, he was NOT an ordinary man. He was interested in absolutely everything, was fall down laughing funny, incredibly intelligent, and pretty much a bit crazy. We have a few of those in our family, including me, LOL. His kitchen table was always full of car parts and other things he was fixing. He smoked Camel unfiltered cigaretts, and I remember him showing me how to connect the dots on the camel to make an outline of a pinup girl, probably something he learned during the war. He was a pip, all right, and always enjoyable company. I wish I had other photos, but I lost a lot of things in a flood in my basement in 2000.

I really don't need to "manage" anything, you can see how long it's been since I turned the computer on. I see a nice lady has put a photo of the tombstone. I'm going to try to get there this summer. If you come to North East, I live in Wattsburg, perhaps you'd like to get together and look at all the old WWII photos I have. Thanks so much again for making this entry for Stash. Big hugs to you, Marji

RE: Your cousin Becky
Thanks Rich - It was made even more traumatic because the day before the night she died from S.I.D.S. we had been to their house so they could show off their beautiful baby daughter. GHS

Thank you for that information. Not knowing what questions to look for gets frustrating in the moment. Always learning something new, and its nice to have someone help you along the way.

Baby steps here. Still have a lot to learn.

RE: Oakwood Cemetery
If you make requests I know who to look
For. It would be a great help.
Ive posted several already.

You mentioned that you work off
the military records.
I go by what I can read.

I'm working the following cemeteries:
Unity ...took pics of about 7/8ths of the cemetery
Mercer Citizens .. Recorded about 400 and not done

Just to give you an idea of the areas I'm focusing on
Hope this helps you

RE: Elizabeth Gilborn photo
I did not see any indication of inscription, or specific headstone, for Henry. We do check each surface of a larger monument for additional inscriptions as we've seen how much may be put onto a larger stone. Unfortunately, inscriptions on certain faces of a stone are much more susceptible to weathering than on other faces due to prevailing winds, and a lot of other factors.
