I grew up on a farm just a mile west of Lone Rock Church and Payne Cemetery which is located in northern Harrison Co., Missouri. Ancestor's on both my father's side and my mother's side were instrumental in building and maintaining Lone Rock Church and also in the early maintenance of the cemetery. My great great grandfather received the first funeral service given in the new church (before the floor was installed) in 1893 and my great grandfather built the pulpit that is still in the church, as well as helping haul lumber and building the church.|

|Richard A Harris||RE: Susie F Lesan-Nelson|
I don't recall ever having met Sue or her husband, although she would have been my grandfather's (Roy B Lesan of Eagleville, MO) first cousin. Her father Chester Ray and my great-grandfather Charles Walter were brothers and ancestors of Mayflower passengers James Chilton and Mary Chilton Winslow through the ancestoral line of my great-great grandmother Sybil Pratt Lesan. I am assuming that you must be somewhat familiar with Harrison County Missouri and if so you may know other lines of my Harrison county ancestors: Ballew, Clark, Harris, Lesan, Moore & Spence just to name a few. I have over 2000 relatives listed in my Ancestry.com family tree and try to back up what I can, so your help was greatly appreciated.

I would like to thank you for the gravestone photo of my ancestor Susie Fay Lesan, Memorial #20980974 and her husband Warren Nelson, Memorial #20980975 that you posted to their Find A Grave pages.

Thank you Wally S for the good photo of the headstone for Wm and Mary Jones and adding it to the find-a-grave site. You have helped fill in missing pieces to our family.

Claude and Charlotte are buried in the Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, Nebraska. When I was taking photographs for Lyle and Martha, I located Claude and Charlotte's headstone. If I give you the info., could you set up the memorial pages for them and then I will add the headstone picture? I always seem to have problems when I try to set up memorial pages. Thanks!

It looks like the other memorial has been removed.
I put my flowers on yours as yours was put on first. my parents and I also came from Mercer County and Harrison County. This other person has been making a lot of duplicates.
Thanks for letting me know.

Wally, Thank You for taking the time and making the effort to get these pictures for me. Daryl was a distant cousin of mine. I was at cemetery several years ago but failed to take pictures. As
I live several hundred miles from there it means a lot to me to get them. Sincerely, Jerry
