I had over 20 years of family tree information, and I lost it all when my computer crashed. I'm always looking for information on both sides and all information is always welcomed. |
The main Family names that I work on are as follows:(Fathers Side)
Dimmers, Fernholz, Gahr, Grupe, Hoff, Hauspolt, Jungmann, Lux, Lentz, Peters, Shittle, Wilmes,
(Mothers Side)on my mother's side the names would be: Deal, Epperson, Von Ende, Ende, House (Hause), Scherer,
Both sides of my family, are from Minnesota, so there is a possibility, if your family names match mine we could be someway related.
I don't mind transferring a site if your related and want to take care of the site. I don't need to have my name attached to there site to know there my family. I will try to visit them when I can, But there never to far from my mind.

|Krause Thompson||Schommer Family|
Four members of this family were cremated at Lakewood Cemetery:
It appears the cremains were returned to the family.
You might want to check
|Rhonda Rother||Robert Schommer|
I wanted to let you know that Robert Schommer is not in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Vermillion. His funeral was out of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage, so he may be buried there. I am the parish administrator for St. John in Vermillion and I verified he is not buried in our cemetery.
|Bill Scherer||Scherers of Medina|
I may be able to help you with tracking your mother's family. Apparently we are both descendants of Andreas and Eva Scherer. I have been researching the family for about 20 years and published a family history of Henry & Agatha Scherer last year. I have a fair amount of information on his brother Simon's family which should include you.
If you'd like to exchange information please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you Julia - we have them all connected and really appreciate your request. Do you know if Jacob Scherer 1888-1959 is also the son of Peter & Anna?
|Kay Mottaz||Clara Welsh|
I am the grandaughter of Clara Dimmers-Welsh
my mother was Marcella Welsh-Mottaz.
I too have been doing research on the Dimmers and Welsh families but have just begun. I have some wonderful pictures of them from the early 1900's.
Let me know if you would like to get together sometime to share some info. It would mean so much.
|jonathan house||house family|
sorry it took so long to get back to you. I had some time off this week and did some more research.
I found that james hazard house had been married twice, moved to iowa, then to Nebraska, where he died......which is in the findagrave info.
there were two Conrad houses who could have been his father in NY. one was born in may 1796. but the trail dropped between them. the other Conrad I found was born june 6, 1786, married betsy hazard, whom I would assume is james mother. they lived in Oswego county, buried in bidwell cemetery.
Conrad's father was George house III, b. 19 apr 1775 in NY. 26 oct 1794 married Catharine kilts in palatine, Montgomery ny.
his father was johann George house II, baptized 8 nov 1737. then it gets really german from there, with names changes fro haus, etc.
I found that info on hausgenealogy.com
I also found more at http://home.uchicago.edu/-lhouse/newsite/familyhistory.html. this did not have the exact it links well to the other site.

Bev Kroschel prepared the book about the cemetery. She said there is a copy at the Ramsey County Library at Hamline and County Road B. A copy is also available at the Roseville Historical Society at 1710 N. Lexington Ave (http://mnrhs.tripod.com/). The Historical Society office in the rear of the Fire Station. The door is clearly marked. Bev helped me find my aunt's burial spot - there was no marker for her though I did have one put in there to mark her plot and resting place. Also, the historical society knows who to contact about getting permission to install a grave marker.
Additional information about Dale/Rice and a short bio there: http://www.parkbooks.com/MnGenWeb/cem.html

I wont have time for a couple of days as am moving.
Always nice to hear about other families and how we are related.
talk to you soon. ma
