Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy genealogy. In posting my family memorials, I usually do a bio that contains family information. I also usually create HTML links in the bio, which was the original way to link the memorials on Find A Grave. The family links feature now on Find A Grave has only been available for a few years. If you are as busy as I am, I don't have time to go back to all of the memorials I hold and link all of those graves, especially if I have them already posted in the biography portion of the memorial. Find A Grave was originally created to help find a grave. Not for me or anyone who earnestly works posting memorials, to do your genealogy. Sorry, I only have so much time in my day. Being bombed with multiple messages requesting the family links is really getting old. Be reasonable when making your requests and don't be part of taking the joy out of what is suppose to be a hobby. Remember, no one is getting paid for this. It's not my job.

I posted this message because right now, I don't wish to have my messages feature turned off. Sharing & communicating is part of what this site is all about. In the past, I've been annoyed when I can't contact someone who contributes to FAG but now I'm beginning to understand what might have been the reason behind it.

Meet my parents:
Jay B. Junior Londo & Linda Lou Ketchum Londo .

Two of my favorite musical compositions:
Le Chancon de Claudine and
Classical Gas , both by Mason Williams.

Dear Ancestor

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Not a problem, I resent the cemetery record.

"Lute B". Mattison aka Lucius B. Mattison
I believe he married 1/w Rosetta Violet Babcock d/o Z. Taylor Babcock and Clarissa Roxina Dake Babcock @1886 White Cloud, Newaygo Co., MI.
Rosetta Violet Babcock McCoy living 1900 Federal Census Ludington, Mason Co., MI. with 4th husband
George Mccoy-McCoy. In household is his step-daughter Eva Mattison b. 1889 MI father born Pennsylvania and mother born Michigan. Lute or Lucius B. Mattison also born in Pennsylvania.
Hard to find this man since I have seen so many
different spellings: Matson, Mattson, Matteson, Mattison etc.
Do you know much about "Lute" Lucius B. Mattison?
I am working on my Babcock-Dake lines of Newaygo Co., MI.

Ira Gamble, Find A Grave Memorial# 31103535
Thank you for your work on Find A Grave, it is very much appreciated.

On Ira's memorial you have his parents as John Gamble and Sarah Guff. Do you know if John was married more than once? I have seen reports that his wife was Sarah Sloniker/Slonaker and other reports that is wife was Sarah Durfee. Do you have documentation on who John married?

RE: Delores Londo
Sounds like an error in the cemetery records. You might consider adding a note about it on her memorial. I have sent a new edit with the block and lot numbers in Greenwood based on your statement of her grave location. Sorry to have bothered you.

RE: Quinten Wood
It was my honor to sponsor Quinten's memorial. What a beautiful boy, and such a tragic life story. Thank you for adding his memorial and contributing so much to Findagrave yourself.

Jonathan Irwin's grave
I (June Gorman) and Jan Irwin have been searching for Jonathan's grave for years. How do you know this is his grave and place of death?

Royce family

Thank you for your years of volunteering and time. I have only been trying to help this site for a couple of years, but find it most rewarding.

I don't know if you are related to the Royce Family. I am related to the CT and VT branch of the Royce family. Deacon Nehemiah Royce and Cynthia Smith's family are my main focus. If you or others are interested, I am willing to share my research.

Thank you
