Bio Photo *It's sad to see people not following fag rules anymore and people being so impolite when contacting others.

I try to be understanding in my requests to other people in sacs or about correcting mistakes (mine or others), but lately it just seems that other peoples etiquette has gone right out the window.

I don't delete my posts on my page because I have no problem with people seeing a conversation. I can't help other people hide the nastiness they have by deleting my initial questions to them on their pages.

No there's no obligation for me to add my personal email onto my profile page, because you can contact me through fag just fine either sac or on my page.

Be polite and courteous to others.

Since 2009 I have been working on preserving the Greenwood Cemetery. I started out taking care of a few family members there and then found more and more. I am related somehow to almost 1/2 of the cemetery.

I have been going through the cemetery stone by stone trying to physically place all the graves. I'm also trying to add names to the stones that are unreadable, which is very very hard! Sometimes I find a stone which just says mother or father even

I have been going through obituaries, church records, cemetery books, county birth records, funeral home records, and death records just trying to make sure every one is found and taken care of.

If you are within the FAG guidelines I will GLADLY transfer too.

I'm just about done with the cemetery now. :D

FAG Rules Regarding Submitting Information / Creating Memorials

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?

Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.

FAG Rules regarding duplicates:

** If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial you should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. YOU SHOULD NEVER DELIBERATELY CREATE A DUPLICATE MEMORIAL.

FAG guidelines regarding photos:

** Not obtaining permission before using others photos is a violation of copyright law and is against Find A Grave policy.

I found a photo of a relative on Find A Grave, can I use it?

Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo.

"I don't want to submit my information and then see it for sale here or on another site. Will Find A Grave always remain a free site?

Find A Grave has been around for over ten years. Our stated goal has always been to remain a free site for everyone. We have no plans on changing that. Additionally, we claim no copyright or 'ownership' of any photos that are posted to Find A Grave. THEY REMAIN YOUR PROPERTY. If we were to turn evil and start charging people to view YOUR photos against your wishes, you would have every LEGAL RIGHT to demand that we remove them. But we're not planning on turning evil, so it shouldn't be an issue."

Do NOT steal photos from findagrave to use in your family trees on or for that matter either.

Do not copy, or post to any website, any of the pictures that I've added to Find-a-Grave Memorials.

Thank you.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss. When you've have someone in your life that long, it's family and I know you must still be grieving. Think of all wonderful memories Calico left you and the great photos you have, too.

Also, appreciate the offer, too. You're very kind.

Well, it was warming up, so I got to go out a little more to the cemetery and photograph markers but when it's cold, not so much, brrrr, lol.

Have a great evening.

Cheers! :)

RE: Hi

Doing better than I was. I pulled a tendon in my arm a week and a half ago and missed 4 days of work. The really depressing thing was that during those 4 days off, the weather was beautiful and I could do absolutely NOTHING. I couldn't even get on the computer, except to check my email once a day, left-handed. Now it's cold again and was snowing a few hours ago! Freeze tonight. :O

I'm hoping to get updated photos taken. First, I have to locate them again, lol. They are on my list of markers that I want to re-photograph.

Thank you for the nice reply.
Maybe he had family in that area and that is why it was listed in the Altoona Tribune? Where did you look up this Altoona Tribune? I think it's great that one can do this.

Also, the death certificate says he died in Pittsburgh. It doesn't say what part of Pittsburgh or what boro, lol. Maybe someday, we'll know, lol.

Also, love your name, "cataholic..." Great name!! Great photo of the cats, too! Appreciate your correspondence.

Have a great evening! :)

Elizabeth Figart
Elizabeth is the second wife of Daniel Shultz I believe they married in 1854 after the death of Mary Ann in 1854. She is William, Miles, and Porter's mother. After Daniel's death she married Isaac W. Cox. Since she is the "second" wife I'm afraid she may be just lost. Daniel is buried with Mary Ann and Isaac is buried with his first wife Charlotte.

The only problem with adding Porter and William as children is that Mary Ann died in 1850. William was born in 1865 and Porter was born in 1868. As far as I can tell, Daniel was married twice, Mary Ellen, Miles, William, and Porter all list on their death certificates Elizabeth Figart as their mother and so far I haven't been able to find her.

P.S. Thank you for the death certificate. I forgot to mention this, too. :)

The death certificate does say that place of death, county and city (Allegheny, Pittsburgh, PA) so I listed as what the certificate has written. Do you think that this might be an error in regards place of death city and county?

I will leave that information out unless you think it's somewhere else however, one will need to provide evidence of these findings. Thanks again, cheers! :)
