Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began my journey into family history as a child listening to my grandmother keeping the family updated on births, deaths, marriages. Over the past 15 years I have been working on a very expanded ancestral tree. It has been an interesting journey. I am now giving back information to the next generation of researchers.

I appreciate all those who contribute to Find-A-Grave as it is and continues to be an important tool.

My ancestry go back to 1620 in New England and 1669 in New France. I am very pleased to become aware of the contributions to the development of North America by so many family members.

Hi! I don't remember seeing anything about A Finstad. If you have any info, I would be pleased to learn. I have an Axel Andreas (Andy) Finstad brother of my great grandmother Christine Finstad Williams. Sincerely, Cyndi

RE: Gladstone Trott

Do you happen to know what the J. was for in
Edward J. Trott's name? If so you should send
an edit on his memorial.

RE: Gladstone Trott
I found the marker today. It took a while.
It like a lot of others in Angus are discolored.
They half a orange tink on them. It must be
from an iron content in the stones they use.
Luckily no damage was done to the cemetery a few
weeks age when the tonado touched down in Angus,
just an half mile away.

I was at Angus Union this morning. I found some
Trott markers, but not one for Gladstone. Could it be under another name? If so, remove your
request, and add a new one with the other name
mentioned in the note.

Thank you for the leads about K Knudtson
Hi Sharin. Thank you so much for those sources. That Maryfield area cemetary link is great. I did a few ties on the Saskatchewan link, but no hits yet. Not sure how he spelled Kaalbjorn, Kolbjorn, So that might trip me up a bit more. I may also have found the wife of the missing Carl Johan Peterson Frodahl, 1863-1918, that went to Canada and passed in 1918. His sister Martha Finstad is a gr gr grandmother to me. NWe thought he may be the Peter Finstad in Skudeness. Still looking into that one too.

Thank you on Akers and question
Hi Sharon. Thanks for getting back to me again on my find a grave Akers. I appreciate your also looking for Peter Finstad. I am looking for another relative that I know died and was buried near Maryfield, Saskatchewan, name was Koljborn or Kaalborn Knudtson. (Father was Knudt Olson) Most of his family is buried in Drammen Cemetery in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. Kaalborn was born Dec 18 1858-d Sept 14, 1932. Anyway, I have been unsuccessful looking for him on ancestry or find a grave. Would you have any suggestions where I might be able to find out what cemetery he may have been buried in. Or maybe an obituary. Would you know which newspaper I might look? IF not, I understand, no problem. Thank you so much for all your help. Sincerely, Cyndi
