In the mid-1980's, I curiously began searching for my ancestors. It has gone from curiosity to a passion all consuming. There is always something new to discover!! I owe it all to my BFF, Geneva!!

For those of you who sit in front of a cemetery book or a newspaper obituary column copying deaths into a cemetery, I truly feel sorry for you. For those of you who complain about those of us who have "Unknown Burials". I believe the name of this program is "Find A Grave". The hopes of family researchers is that some one some where will FIND our lost ancestor and may even find a tombstone of that loved one. As for me, I am so proud that this site has come about where I can share my family with others and hopefully find long lost descendants that I would never have found otherwise. Thank you, FindAGrave.

Thank you for giving me a heads up on the error in my listing for these two children.
I originally transcribed all the names as of the early 70's that were listed in Lakeview Cemetery. Then later I went out to the cemetery and photographed every current headstone/marker that was there. Obviously there was no stone for the two girls or I would have it photographed.
The trouble with transcriptions is that very often names are spelled wrong, dates are off, and occasionally persons get listed in the wrong cemetery if in the same city area.
I will move the girls to East Hill where they obviously belong, and then contact Don Fry to see if he will transfer his photos to my originals and delete his dupes. If he won't then I will just delete mine.
Thanks again for making contact concerning these memorials. It is important that they are correct.

I am presently trying to fulfill your request for a photo of the grave at San Fernando
cemetery. I have run into a problem the office does not want to look up anymore of my request (I called to many times now) for grave location and if they know there is a headstone. if you can call the office and request the plot location and if they know of a headstone you can post it on the memorial. Sorry, I am not related. The obituary was contributed by another member who combs old newspapers for obituaries. I don't believe she was related either.
