Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became a member of Find A Grave some time after my momma (Esther Udell) passed away. I am not even sure how I found the site, but I am glad I did. I thank Jim Tipton for creating such an extraordinary site. I am a mother of 4 grown children, grandmother of 15 and great grandmother to 6. My family is my world. I am also a HUGE wrestling fan. I do bios on deceased wrestlers, and attempt to get them added to the famous list. I believe no person should ever be forgotten I try and leave tokens for as many people as possible, especially little children, all children deserve some kind of memorial. I do not make my memorials like obituaries I make them as tributes. Someone once told me I should make them obits, I do these to show how much I loved and cared for the people they are made for. I do them on a personal level, not as an obituary. I hope anyone who reads any of my memorials like them if not that is OK, but I will not change them.

Re-Read Our Commments
I just re-read both our comments. We somehow got off on the wrong foot. My main point was to request a separation of the non-personal from the personal points on the Find A Grave page. You disagree. Let's agree to disagree. I wish you well in your ancestry research endeavors as I hope you wish me well in mine. NOTE: If I find new information on our mutual Find A Grave ancestors - I will continue to forward that information to you. I greatly admire Find A Grave members - -like yourself - - who actively research the graves under their management rather than just sitting on them. Well - time for me to get back to researching. Again - good luck in your research also.

1. No one is ORDERING you to do anything -it was A SUGGESTION - so please do not state otherwise.

2. Everyone has dead ancestors on Find A Grave (an uncle/aunt/father-whatever). YET- RARELY do Find A Grave members write in a child like tabloid very personal informational Facebook/diary manner as Find A Grave is primarily an ancestor research page.

3. Do what you want. Time marches on - this is NOT a big deal - it was a suggestion - take it or leave it.

Obits
Find A Grave is meant primarily for ancestry research. While some personal comments are nice, filling the entire page with endless personal exclamations is like reading someone's personal diary or Facebook page and makes reading it at times uncomfortable as some information is none of our business and/or makes the Find A Grave page read like a cheap tabloid and/or like it was written by a teen. By all means, continue to write in an overly personal nature - no one is going to stop you. It was just a "suggestion" to write in a more professionally/non-personal way and you can take it or leave that suggestion - no need to get defensive or to hate on me.

Please pots just the Obits
Please post the obit (or obit like story) exactly as would be posted in a newspaper without the flowery personal words. Please add your personal touches (biting toes, my Uncle Albert etc) for the end of the page AFTER the obit (obit like) description. Example Albert was married to Cathy and had 2 children xx and xxx. XXX preceded Albert in death dying in 1992. Etc. THEN at the end add He was my uncle and I used to bit his toes. People like to copy the obit(obit like stories) and having the my uncle in our trees as an obit when they are not our uncle - forces everyone to re-write it back to the NON-personal obit or obit like story.

RE: William Moody
Thanks for the kind words. Paul Bearer was my first wrestler as famous on Find A Grave, I prefer to bio TV or movie stars, I just happened to be awake late Tuesday night when a friend posted about his passing on Facebook so I went ahead and made his memorial. I was the only one to make it under his ring name, Paul Bearer, while 3 others created memorials under his William Moody name. I was surprised that they took mine.

Regards,

Louis
