Could this be the first post master of Mandeville who co-served with John William Smith?
Please view following information.
Bonnie Shirley Amery
Place name: Mandeville
Description: "This place has never been organized as a town but its history can be dated back to 1854 when John Smith and Robert Troughber petitioned the government for a post office and to give it the name of Mandeville." Robert Troughber gave the name to this town in honor of his sweetheart, Miss Amanda Shirley, of Tennessee. (TURNER-CLARK, Vol. I, p. 140)

Do you have any sources for his birth in Westphalia? Documentation is plentiful for his birth in Luyderdorp, Nederlands.

Hello, Memorial #155271953 (Logan Westfall) was created 22 Nov 2015. Yours #149751928 was created 25 Jul 2015. #155271953 should be merged into #149751928. The duplicate might of been created since there was no cemetery on the memorial.
Thanks for all your contributions!!

Wow, my assumption was spot on you certainly have been doing research on Nathan Westfall.
With links back to death in 1667 this is quite impressive.

In correcting some of the errors on TN death certificates, I have been doing a little research to be sure the change/information submitted is accurate.
Emma Cor_line [?] Traughber, mother of Ewin T. Traughber, died on 8 Jan 1914 in District 1, Montgomery Co, TN. According to her death certificate, she was buried at Sadlersville, [Robertson Co], TN. I have not found her tombstone in either of the cemeteries in Sadlersville. John Cornelius must have married between 1918 and 1920 to Ophelia [surname?], possibly in Coffee Co, TN. They moved to Hopkins Co, KY and eventually to Knox Co, IN.
Do you have any idea what Emma's middle name really was? and who was Ophelia?
Thanks for any help.

May I copy the information on this memorial to my Ancestry Tree? This is an ancestor of my niece in law and I am helping her with her tree. She is a direct descendant of Jacob. I will make sure your name and Find A Grave site are given proper credit.

Wanted to mention that I prefer not being given credit for anything you add to your memorials. It leads to people contacting me with questions about families that are unfamiliar to me other than having created solely as a result of stumbling upon obituaries.

I have added your suggestions and changed the spelling to Alfred, but I did not find a Civil War Record for him-- which you mentioned as a source for the spelling of his name. We would love to recognize him for his service if you could send us his regiment. Thanks.

I started working with Harry last week,he sent records as to there being an earlier Quaker burring ground.... long story short....I made a cemetery from his data.... after transferring Aaron Hackney.... I realized you accounted for this already.... Aaron is there now and on Monday I will move the remainder from "Cadawaller" over and delete the duplicate cemetery.
