Thank you for posting this gravesite information. It disproves that this woman was the wife/widow of John Firman or Pfirman (various spellings)whose maiden name was Anna E. Saulpaugh. Many public trees at Ancestry.com have committed that error based on NYC death certificate and no apparent corroborative evidence.

My pleasure. I am attempting to complete a survey book of the burials in Maysville Cemetery. Let me know if you need any other members of the Miles family.

HI, I think you may have set up duplicate memorials for Kathryn. One is listed in Sunset Hill Cem and the other is in Sunset Lawn Cem. The dates are close. Hope this helps.

That is correct. My GG-Grandfather signed everything as William J yet his name was William Spencer.
Thanks for helping and sharing information.

Thank you for sharing your source. I have found many cases of transcription mistakes also, and am not sure which is correct at times. He did use "Lou" as a nickname with his legal name being Lewis. His father changed his name also??? Changed his middle initial??? They must not have liked their given names. I'll leave his record as is. Are you related to the Rogers family?

I just noticed your edit request for my Great Grandfather, Lewis Rogers, to change his first name to Levi. Just wondered what source you are using for this request? His daughter Fern, my Grandmother, always referred to her father as Lewis. We do not have any family records that reference his name as Levi??
Tusen takk! Your kindness in sharing information is appreciated.

If you ever go back take the middle entrance and park. Start walking up the hill, they are near the fence line. I cannot remember if they are on the 1st or 2nd hill, but that gives you the general area. :o)
