Bio and Links
Bio Photo Just someone who likes to search genealogy for ancestors, relatives and people of the past. I am also in love with cemeteries, too!! I am an author and historian who enjoys investigating past unsolved crimes and mysteries, mostly of people I find in cemeteries. I search for the real truth, the history. I believe that NO ONE should ever be forgotten, and it is our job to preserve the history of the past and keep the memories alive of those who have passed before us for future generations.

"Let us never forget those who have been long since forgotten."-

RE: Elna Zimmerman
Of course you can use the photo! Thank you for letting me know though. I didn't know she had a tragic story and would love to hear about it.

RE: Paiva Girls
I was researching a connection to Jean Harlow, learned about the death of her husband, did a Google search, and the rest is history...shall we say.

Paiva Girls
Thank you for the information. I added it all to each girl's memorial page and attributed them to you. Interestingly, I first read some of your blogs just two days ago regarding Dorothy Millette Bern and Anna Corbin.

Urban legends
Oh no, not at all! We have a local legend here that a man went insane and beheaded his wife and kids, then hung himself. The house is out in the woods and the poor lady who lives there gets bothered a lot. I went to the library and there are very old newspaper articles that they keep in a folder behind the counter for anyone who asks about the legend and how it's not true.

Unfortunately I did not add any of the photos so I cannot remove them from the memorial. Please contact the photographer to take at least one off. I'd love to have his photo on the memorial! Thank you so much!

RE: Octavia Smith Hatcher
That's a really excellent article, thank you. You can change the image credit to my real name if you want, Kathryn Riley. :)

Supposedly the baby part of the statue is laying on the ground now. You can kind of see something like that in the picture. However, I haven't been there to see the statue myself nor if you can see where it supposedly broke off. My uncle who took the picture passed on so I can't ask him either.
