Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my family tree for about 12 years. It is a never ending endeavor and always evolving! It is very fascinating and I have found family members I never knew existed. I live in a tiny community called Sherman, PA, which is on the border of Deposit, Delaware Co. NY. I am researching the Davis, Barnhart, Butler, Castle, Knapp, Morse, Owen, Sanford, Sprague, Sutton, Titch, VanDusen (etc)families, just to name a few. Also, Schumeyer, and for my husband: Karcher, Geer & Quick; and for my children: Parsons, Fuller & Elliott. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who are researching these families or who have any connections to them.

Roger D. Davis
RE: Davis'
Mary,

Glad to have been a help. Some of the dates seemed a bit off. That is a huge cemetery to research and many of the older stones are getting very hard to read.

I was born and raised in Andes. There are many cemeteries within the township. The Rural cemetery there is just up the hill from where I used to live as a young lad.

Joseph and Fanny Davis
Joseph Davis #29542347 and his wife Fanny (Reynolds) Davis # 29542361. Joseph was born 15 Aug 1834 the twin brother of my husbands g grandfather James Davis. James and his wife Mary (Martin) Davis are buried in Lew Beach, Sullivan Co. NY.
Interestingly every generation of this Davis family has had a set of twins.

RE: Dulcy Belknap, Ball's Eddy Cemetery
Mr Faigle called today. He doesn't think Dulcy or her husband, Abel Belknap, are buried in the Ball's Eddy Cemetery in spite of her obit in the "Catskill Mountain News". He also suggested Kingsbury Hill Cemetery and gave me some telephone numbers to try in case the Dix family still cares for it. I'll try that route. Thanks so much for your help, J.

RE: Dulcy Belknap, Ball's Eddy Cemetery
I just called Mr Faigle and left a message on his answering machine. However, I heard a lot of clicking while I spoke, so I don't know if it recorded well or not. Fingers crossed! Thanks for the tip, J.
